Difficult to find information about the windmill. Seems to be used for limited retail services for the local community - no evidence of interest for visitors.

We found this by chance whilst out walking in the area so popped in for a drink and a look around. The barman was very friendly and helpful in telling us about what drinks were on offer. The beer was very good and we brought some bottles to take home. The only thing I would say is it don't look very open or welcoming from the outside but it is very much the opposite once you go in!

Was able to see this at fairly close quarters. Interesting to look at. Would be lovely to see one with sails as well

The windmill itself was not open when we visited and looked a bit neglected. So we went to the quiet windmill cafe. Whilst our hot drinks and shared piece of cake were fine, we realised afterwards we had been charged for two pieces of cake. This left a bad taste.

Me, the wife and some friends stayed at the site across the road and popped in here a few times. What a great little micro pub, the owner is fantastic, knows his stuff and great to chat to.
Really nice drinks and a very nice place.

First visit for more than 3 years. We were only customers. Not much for vegans but staff were helpful. Very little space to fit wheelchair between tables and despite a heater,room was cold. On the plus side, tea room clean and staff helpful. The disabled toilet was not wheelchair-friendly,

We have been there many times both good and bad during the change in ownership and when the sails came off. Recently there is another new owner who had plans to rebuild the mill back to its former glory . I do hope this happens as it could become a really unique place to visit . The cafe is nice but could be so much better and I hope it will improve to enhance a visit there. We had a good time there but it needs more to make a trip worthwhile .

Had not visited for quite a while.
Was pleasantly surprised at how good it all looked. Friendly, helpful staff, great coffee and cakes, well priced. Nice to have the choice of where to sit on a very hot day.
The addition of a bar makes it a lovely place to visit in a bigger group. Would definitely visit again.

A wonderful tearoom in relaxing atmosphere. Fantastic homemade cakes and quiches. Generous portions at really good prices. Jill and her family give a warm and friendly welcome. Please support this lovely place to enable it to stay open all year round. Open 10.00 to 4.00 Wed to Sunday incl. plenty of parking and a bar next door stocking great beers, where you can take your food from Jill's tearoom if you fancy something stronger than tea or coffee. Dogs welcome outside or in the conservatory area. Special afternoon teas can be booked and they are lovely. Get yourself down there now!

Would this area be suitable for two wheelchair users to walk with their assistance dogs please? Is there level access? Are the paths around here paved and free from too much mud?

So can you go into the mill and are there sails on it at present (July 2018)
Been reading mixed things and one site says there’s admission so assumed you could go inside the mill like an attraction but these recent reviews are for the cafe only

The Mill is still undergoing renovation, so it’s not suitable for visitors yet - I don’t think. Have a look at their Facebook page as it has all the latest information.
