Me and my friends came white water rafting yesterday. The river was high and the rapids were great! It was my first time going white water rafting,I was nervous before we went but our guides(chad and reid) and rafting leader (scott) were amazing! They answered all my questions and I felt very comfortable! Very happy with my experience,I would 100% do it again!

I took the full day lower new river tour yesterday and had the BEST adventure I could have asked for. This was a 2023 bucket list item for me and it was better than I imagined. Reed, Chad, and Scott made the entire experience so much better with their knowledge and personalities. I’ve already told all of my friends about my experience and they can’t wait to try it. I will be back!

The river was awesome, Scott was awesome and the scenery was awesome.
Overall, we had a great time.
Safety was definitely a huge factor for them and we felt safe the entire time, even though Scott definitely reminded us how dangerous the river could be. Just do what he tells you to do, when he tells you to do it, laugh at his jokes occasionally, and you'll be good. 😂
I'd definitely go back and I'd definitely request Scott as my river guide.

My husband, 10 year old son, and I had an amazing time on the Lower New trip this weekend! I exchanged emails in advance with Peggy to make sure it was appropriate for my 10 year old first-timer, and felt very confident going into the trip! Costa Rica Scotty was our guide, and he helped our confidence grow all day long! It was great to see my kiddo want to jump out at every opportunity (rock jumping and a couple rapids where swimmers go over themselves and be scooped back into the raft).
It was a little chilly that morning (55), and many people on the trip rented a wetsuit or a paddle jacket. We were all happier with these layers, on, the water temp was higher than the air temp and you get wet for sure!!!! Only one person fell out during our tour but they said that's totally dependent on the day, there were 5 boats of 4-8 people. Bus ride there and back was a positive experience, and riverside lunch of lunch meat, PB&J, homemade pasta salad and homemade dessert was perfect!

Costa Rico Scott was a great guide down the New River. We had a great trip doing the white water; always felt safe when going thru the rapids, thanks to Scott's professionalism and experience.

Everyone at this outfitter was great; first time rafting, conditions may not have been ideal, but what an experience! Our guide, Scotty, was awesome, very knowledgeable about the area, as he grew up there, and about river conditions. There’s not one point during the trip did I not feel unsafe for myself or my family. I can’t wait to go again, would HIGHLY recommend this outfitter!

Jason was the best. Gave great suggestions for local attractions during our weekend trip. Knew tons about the local history and had us stabbing cobras with the best of them. 10/10 would recommend.

Went as a bachelor party and had a fantastic time with Jason as our guide. He was the BEST! Really knew the river and gauges how good we were to find the best line for us. Super entertaining! Will go back

Company was fantastic. Father, son (19) and daughter(17) out in the raft with our guide Scott - outstanding. He did a very professional tour with his accomplices - Bean and Bartley. Took care of me and my family. Safe. Thorough. Challenging. Good teacher. Definitely recommend this rafting trip to anyone around.

Rafted on 6/10. It is not difficult. Thrilling, but not dangerous since the guides judge your groups’ skill level. My 10 years old daughter really wanted to be in the front. Our guide let her ride there through the first good rapid. She was thrown out. From then on, she was happy to sit in the rear near our guide.

My group is staying in the rustic cabins. Any suggestions on making the stay more comfortable? Is there fishing nearby?

You can buy some around the corner. You can also scavenge kindling on site.
