They have a friendly and intimate atmosphere with a deep, but narrow, u-shaped bar where patrons frequently talk across to each other. Friendly bartenders and a great back room that can be reserved for various functions.

I like this place. Granted I'm old and part of the earlier, tamer crowd. I inadvertently ate here every day for a week. Limited menu but what they have is good. Seems like they have a lot of goings ons for locals. I'm an outsider but if I lived here I'd probably hang out here.

Typical rowdy bar that caters to a bad element, so the police are there frequently to break up fights. Not the kind of place you want to go, especially when there's a great place to go, just down the street.
