Sunrise has everything apple related you would ever need! The apple selection is abundant, along with bakery, jellies, jams, popcorn, candy, apple slushies, cider, etc. today was a busy day at the orchard, but we did not have any problems finding what we wanted to purchase, and checkout was a breeze as well. Will be back again!

Sunrise does not offer pick your own apples, but has a great selection of apple varieties. Lots of apple, pumpkin, etc. food products. They also offer local crafts/gift items. There are several cute settings outdoors for kid and family photos.

We have been stopping here every fall for years with a large group of friends. Very nice place with something for everyone. Must try the fresh warm Apple doughnuts made right in front of you! The fresh cider is very good as well. oh and dont forget to get a pumpkin log and jelly and ....ECT...ECT.

Trip to Gays Mills on 10/20/2019. Sunrise Orchard is very easy to find and has lots of parking. Even on busy days we are able to find a spot. They have some activities to keep your young ones engaged. TONS of different kinds of apples!! Cider, jams, lots of goodies. Very much enjoyed our day there!

Last year was our first time to Sunrise Orchards and we made sure we went back this year. I think it will be a new family tradition. This year we were able to go on "Family Weekend" and had a family portrait created by a caricature artist (for free!). We had some fun with the outdoor bowling and lawn checkers as well. BUT the best of the best is the apple cider doughnuts, we stocked up on (and froze). Beside doughnuts we love to get a few boxes of apples, cider, and pumpkin logs. It was a fun day and tasty day.

This looks to be one of the bigest operations in Gays Mill. Very fresh cider doughnuts which you can watch them make on site.

A few couples went here as heard many great comments about this apple orchard. This apple orchard offered many more food offerings than we could have imagined. They had an apple slice tasting station that had over 10 slices of different apple varieties and were all free. They had many free tasting stations (apple cider, cheese, and salsas). We bought the Honey Crisp apples and they are very good for apple pies and apple crisp. The cherry salsa (medium heat) was excellent and somewhat tart. This was a great place for apples and related fruits. We bought the apple cider donut and was very tasty. The only negative is the roads to drive to the place were under construction and were slow and Google Maps were not available some of the time.Yes, worth the drive.

covered in warm caramel, chopped nuts, and whipped cream! Yeah, I did! It was great! They have “everything to do with apples” here and a ton more. Jellies, jams, honey, popcorn, cheese curds, and anything else sold at markets in Wisconsin! I bought cider, apples, and some jelly. It was a fun, busy place! There must have been 350 people there,,,,and most of them were in a line to get cider donuts! There are also things for kids to do and enjoy, too! I highly recommend this place! It is a real hoot!

Driving almost 3 hours to find a very limited supply of of my favorite variety...the jonagold apple. It was devastating to pay supermarket prices while traveling so far. The layout of this store is strange also. However, the donuts and cider are delicious.

Who knew that the best donuts in the world are made at Sunrise Orchards? One cannot describe the taste except perhaps by saying “exquisite “!
The selection of apples is second to none....and did I mention the view?
Do yourself a favor...go out of your way to get here and enjoy the leisurely scenic drive!

It's pretty much the same as the Cedar Rapids area that you're from, if I read this right. It's a little late this year because of all the rain we've had, so October 7th, The oaks come a bit later than everything else.
Would the first week of Sept be too early ti visit for apples and other goodies
