Sturgeon Bay's Third Avenue and Jefferson Street have some really great shopping but Untitled Used and Rare Books (it even sounds cool) is a terrifically charming spot for lovers of literature. Check out their well-rounded collection in Untitled's warm atmosphere, maybe even plop on a comfy couch to read and have a cup of coffee. Check Untitled on Facebook to see what they're doing at nights too-- they have some really great performances by bands and singers from all over. Waaaay more than just a little bookstore. Thanks for keeping Sturgeon Bay rad!!

This is the kind of book store you expect to see in a movie. As though Audrey Hepburn is going to turn around a corner and collide with Fred Astaire. The owner fits perfectly in his shop; he is friendly and interesting with a bit of wry cynicism no book shop owner can be without. He unwrapped a new book just so I could look into it. He also allowed me to take many beautiful photographs of his shop. There were lots of wonderful little curios to look at as well as several different kinds of difficult to find ephemera, not just books! We went back twice during our time at Sturgeon Bay, and we would like to visit again.

I recently moved to Sturgeon Bay, having lived more than a decade in "the big city". This bookstore is that rare instance of cool usually reserved for dense, urban areas. I bring all of my out of town visitors here for gift shopping and to show off my hometown. Come for the books and stay for the coffee, a concert, or spoken word. Did I mention you can also purchase VINYL and vintage record players here? Incredible.

I fell in love with this wonderful little bookshop. It is full of a great mix of rare gems and affordable reads, carefully curated by the owner, who is a true book-lover and great to talk to! There are cozy chairs to sit and skim through books, creaky wooden floors, and that good old bookstore smell. I was thrilled to find a few rare books there that I never expected to come across! There are also great BYOB concerts and impromptu gigs some evenings, making this place not only a bookstore but a local hangout as well.

This place is what I think of when someone refers to The Old Curiosity Shop. I meandered in and out of little rooms with a seat here or there, books stacked high, posters covering whatever wall space is left between the bookshelves. The store has many first editions of classic books, some signed by the authors. Other books are just old and out-of-print. Old maps, magazines, and LP's can also be found. Complementary coffee was served the morning I was there, and live music the previous night.
If you still appreciate collecting books rather than relying solely on Kindles and Nooks, this is the place. This owner was polite, knowledgeable, and was careful in packaging up the fragile goods I purchased. I look forward to returning sometime and discovering what new treasures might be lurking in the corners.

You won't regret visiting this amazing bookstore. The owner is personable and knowledgeable, and his collection is vast. Live poetry readings and music shows happen regularly and are always interesting. Well worth multiple visits!

Definitely worth checking out. Lots of rare and out of print books. We found some real gems while browsing. Packed from floor to ceiling with books. Worth the visit.
