Kids loved feeding the deer up close, fun experience for them. Easy walking paths, bathrooms and sinks available, picnic area. The animals there were fun to observe. Would suggest about an hour for visit.

Fun park to feed many plump deer. Bring a dollar extra and get an ice cream cone filled with corn and feed pellets. Refill the coin at the stations for a quarter.

This was probably my favorite part of the dells! It was such an amazing experience to be around all the deer and pet them. We had a chance to talk to a worker there too and she seemed to genuinely care for them. She even named a few and could tell you about them. Can’t wait to go back!

It was a good experience for animal lovers like us. There are plenty of deer so that all visitors can interact at the same time. Most of the deer were friendly and gentle. A couple were a little pushy if you had food in your hand. Take quarters for easy purchasing of corn. They also have cash/card stands where you can purchase deer food as well. My only complaint is it’s not a very long activity.

This is a must do if you love animals or especially if you have children. We got there at opening time and the deer were ready to have their treats. We bought 4 packages of the crackers for 6 adults and 6 children. The two smallest children were 14 months old and they both feed a piece of a cracker to the deer-the deer were that gentle. The whole group enjoyed the visit and the fact that the deer are free to roam. While there we used the restrooms which were nice and clean and visited the gift shop afterwards for a few souvenirs. For us it was something very different to do and would recommend it to others.

always one of our favorite things to do in the dells, soo many deer, plus a few other animals as well. if i had one piece of advice it would be skip the food they will sell you inside(before going in) its a cracker like thing and we had a hard time getting the deer to want it. instead once you get in there are stands and little quarter machines that sell a pellet/corn mixture that they go nuts for..save your money for that

This place looked appealing as I approached it, so I gave it a try.
I walked through the Entrance with my significant other. We approached the Tickets desk and Admission for General was $16. Ticket Sales Include Tax. We went through the Entrance door and started our adventure.
The first thing I encountered was the Ringtailed Lemur display. There were two Lemurs and they sure did seem mischievous. Right next to that was the Emu display. I saw two Emus in there and they were large!
The American Elk Duke was beautiful. It was astonishing to look at. They even had more American Elk in a different enclosure that were just as beautiful.
After that, I checked out some Deer. I saw the White Fallow Deer, Black Fallow Deer, White Tail Deer, and Spotted Fallow Deer. I loved them all!
I checked out the American Bison Mini & Pearl display. They didn’t seem too happy to be in there, so that instantly saddened me.
This place had a White-Tailed Deer Refuge with so many Deer. It seemed to be a giant enclosure. I didn’t care for seeing those beautiful Deer being restricted.
The Racoons and Rabbits were great to see. They were all in small enclosures, so that was terrible.
The Peacock display was cool to see, but it wasn’t too big. I spotted three and I think they needed more space to roam around in. They were gorgeous, though.
The service wasn’t pleasant here and it definitely wasn’t friendly. The employees had snarky attitudes.
Overall, it was nice to stop and see the animals, but that was about it. I enjoyed seeing them all, but they deserve a better environment. Admission was a bit steep for what you get. I probably won’t go back here.

Deer are super sweet - there were other animals there as well like a lemur, horses, etc. so we enjoyed seeing those as well. This is a very unique experience, I would recommend this to anyone.

Very fun! You can spend the whole day here. They have crackers for 6.00, .25 cent corn machines and 1.00 ice cream cones filled with corn to feed the deer. My kids absolutely loved it. It is one of my favorite places in the dells!!

No. There are wide, paved paths through the park that are easy to run a wheelchair on if you aren't able to walk.

As Theresa advised in her review, yes they are allowed but the deer can and will come up them. I know they tried to eat my camera case straps so I would advise putting all loose items into a bag that is out of their reach/sight and making sure tiny fingers stay away from mouths. I think with a little due diligence a stroller would be perfectly fine here and kids would have a blast here!
