Waves of Relaxation was amazing. Both females were great (Morgan and ? forgot name). Two observations: the 30 min facial was suppose to be face and neck and my girl only did face. In my experience the vichy shower should only target the body not face and at times I felt like i was drowning as the water dripped in my eyes, nose and mouth. Otherwise it was fabulous including the lunch provided. I recommend this or if you want cheaper just get a massage.

We got a couples massage by the beach. It was amazing! We booked early morning (9am) and it was perfect, not too hot, nice gentle breeze, not a ton of folks walking by (not that we noticed!)
Our two therapists were Olivia and we can’t remember the other absolutely lovely woman’s name, sorry!)
Super great experience, if you want to indulge yourselves, we highly recommend!

I was so excited to be on vacation and have time for a massage. First of all the therapist was good so I have no complaints about the therapist skills.
I thought I would try a massage by the beach since I am in Hawaii. This was a grave mistake. For the price I assumed the spa would have a spot for the massage to take place and they don’t…it is just a random spot in the grass no seclusion so not very relaxing. Also, due to the wind, which as a tourist I am not familiar with it, I should have been pre-warned that it can be very windy and loud, and that the spot is not secluded from people. I would have picked to just get the massage inside, but I did not know any of this until I was outside with no clothes on with just a robe.
Also, I paid for an 80 minute massage and I definitely did not get an 80 minute massage due to the terribly windy conditions the therapist spent a good portion of the time dealing with the sheet and making sure I was not exposed (since children and adults alike are around to see all). The therapist was clearly stressed by the wind and so the massage itself was not as relaxed I could feel the stress in her strokes.
I think that as a customer I should be told exactly what They getting with a beach massage, because if I had been told all of that I would have picked the inside option and gotten what I wanted and not felt ripped off, due to the fact the spa is not setup or ready for outdoor massages.

I can surely tell everyone, this is one of the BEST massages ever, I have ever received!!! I have chronic back pain and despite many trips to massage therapists at home, nobody had ever worked on my pains like this before. Thank you so much. It was pricey (yes....) but it was well worth. Thank you, thank you. You are the best. I did not get the name of the therapist, but she is absolutely the best.

Got a hawaiian lomi lomi massage mixed with deep tissue by Aina and it was beyond perfect!
loved that he was intuitive enough to know where it hurt and he knew how to release the knot without hurting. Scheduled 3 more massages with him and each was of the very high standards ( which i had not expected!!!) so yay!! for the spa and yay for him who is so well trained!

Exceptional lovely staff at Spa by the Sea! Ashley at the counter was extremely helpful with the massage package we chose. As well she gave us dining suggestions for all over Kauai! Which were all great. ❤️
Then there are Heidi and Taylor our practitioners! Out of this world Lomi Lomi couples massage for my husband and I. Taylor did incredible deep tissue work on my husband and Heidi gave me the most relaxing beneficial massage I’ve ever experienced.
This spa is incredible! So incredible we went TWICE in 8 days for the same treatment!
The rooms are perfectly comfortable and the bathroom well stocked. The lounge area is warm and inviting and has calming decor. And clean! The whole place is spotless.
THANK YOU ladies for making our vacation and spa experience something we will never forget!

Spa by the Sea is located in the Waipoul Beach Resort. I recently had a deep tissue massage by Taylor and it was incredible. From the moment I walked into the spa, the staff was kind and attentive. Taylor was sensitive to prior injuries and really worked to give me more mobility in those areas. Taylor gives one of the best massages I have ever received.

Ashley assisted me in my reservation. She was able to accommodate me with my soak bath and a hot stone massage. The entire experience was lovely....from the relaxing waiting room with iced water and a chocolate. The locker room was immaculate. I hiked earlier so my soak and massage was just what I needed. Karen did a fantastic hot stone massage. My first time and I would recommend! Thank you

Eh, mediocre. This was the most expensive spa prices I have seen for a basic massage. $160 for 50 minutes is crazy even for a resort. I got a package with a scrub, mud and massage. I wasn't impressed. The massage was just okay and the scrub and mud didn't make up for the price. Go down the street for a local massage rather than at the resort to get your money's worth.
