Excellent selection of produce and other goods in the best shopping center on Kauai. Wonderful time. You have to get sugarloaf pineapple and Hawaiian avocados!

This is a weekly must when we visit Kauai. The vendors fruits and vegetables are excellent. There are three musicians performing in three different areas. Great shops, best on island of large know retail mixed with local purveyors. Plan on being there from 3 to 6:30 at least.

The farmers market on Wednesday was packed! We enjoyed purchasing fruits and veggies. The white pineapple has a very long line but it was worth waiting in. It’s absolutely delicious!! Like nothing I’ve had before.

Great fun to visit! There were some very interesting and yummy local food offerings. Of course tastes are available. The market stands were spread out throughout the shopping center. So it is possible to spend some pleasant time shopping the market and shops.

We arrived in Poipu on a Wednesday about 5 pm—no car and about a mile from the market. We left out bags with the front desk and were picked up by a local dinner shuttle who dropped us off at the market. Even though we had only 30 mins left before it closed, we were able to pick up pineapple, papaya, apple bananas, arugula, green and spring onions, and long beans. Just be sure to pack your reusable bags for your trip! Come with cash.

This is the first Kauai trip we have been on when they were doing the market! We picked up a ton of fresh veggies and fruits that we enjoyed them throughout the week. The line for the fresh coconuts was very long and my daughter left the line after 20 minutes. We grabbed the "sugar" pineapple which are the best tasting pineapples we have ever had. There was one vendor with baked goods. Not a ton of variety of food, but the fruits and veggies alone are worth checking this place out. Living Food also was selling $5 appetizer slices of Wagyu beef with blue cheese which was tasty.

What a fabulous assortment of local fruits and vegetables. We got in line right away for the famous sugarloaf pineapples and so happy we did! They were so worth the wait! If you are in the area on Wednesday afternoon, make sure to check this farmers market out!

Wish the grill at our vrbo was hotter. Could buy fish in the center and lovely fresh veggies. Alas had to bypass food sellers and just sample white pineapple--extraordinary! And coconut curd. Yum. Lots of vendors, food bites from the local culinary school - which was also the cooking demo tonight - a salad with breadfruit, shrimp and pork belly. Delicious. A must do on Wednesday 330 to 6.

I must admit I love farmer’s markets and this one was very good. First off, you can’t beat the setting, outside in the middle of a lovely shopping center with lots of people enjoying and buying local fruits (highly recommend you try the white pineapple, delicious) vegetables and a variety of locals treats. Monkeypod jams and Island Sweets croissants, to name two favorites. Even if you are staying in a hotel and not able to cook, bring home some local bananas papayas and guavas.

Go early for the best selection, there was a nice variety of prepared foods, fruits & veggies, souvenir shopping. Definitely bigger than we expected.
