Coming from Australia we have just completed (Oct/Nov 24) a 15 day cruise of Hawaiian Islands and French Polynesia Islands and experienced many tours over all of the islands. The exceptional stand out tour was the Road To Hana conducted by Bryan as Maui's Private Guide. What a great day, full of sites, adventures and information...this guy was full of info and very enthusiastic in how he went about the tour. Bryan is a very passionate and thoughtful guide right from when we first met up at the port. We enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend this tour (and especially Bryan) to anyone considering the Road To Hana experience. Very well done....

The whole day was amazing. Bryan was very knowledgeable about hawaiian history and about the road. I would book this trip again if we make it back to Maui.

Mauis Private guide was the perfect Road to Hana tour for our group of nine. Prior to the trip, communication from Bryan (the owner) was frequent and excellent. our group had a diverse mix of “adventure-seekers” and Bryan did good job of reading our group and recommending appropriate activities. We chose Mauis Private Guide because the website indicated the guides are not only drivers but actually get out and join in whatever activity you want to do. For example, one of the activities we told Bryan we wanted to do was swim in a waterfall. Bryan avoided the “tourist trap” waterfall and took us to another waterfall where he put on his bathing suit, led us the best spot to enter, and joined in our fun. Bryan’s knowledge of Hawaiian history, geology, and mythology was both insightful and entertaining.

Incredible experience. The entire day was Taylor made for our desired experiences. My wife and I had just a wonderful time. I can’t recommend Bryan enough. From the get go, he was so personable and knowledgeable. Could I have driven road to Hana? Sure. Would it be as enjoyable? No chance. We were so thrilled with our experience. If you want ti support a local business, this is the way to go. Thanks again for making our trip to Maui so memorable. The first time you swim under a waterfall in Maui, you won’t forget it. Mahalo!

We had an unforgettable experience on the Road to Hana, not just because of the breathtaking views, but thanks to Brian, our guardian angel. While en route driving on our own, we encountered an unexpected flat tire on our rental. After some unanticipated struggles changing on our own and being without cell service, we flagged down a passing tour van. Without hesitation, it’s driver, Brian went above and beyond, quickly jumping in to help us change it. His calm and reassuring demeanor turned what could have been a stressful situation into a minor detour.
If Brian is assisting stranded tourists on the side of the road, I’m sure his tours are as five-star as his service. His aloha spirit certainly was shining through and we couldn’t be more grateful! Mahalo, Brian!

If you want a private, custom, and comfortable tour around the border of Maui or Hawaii, then Bryan from Maui’s Private Guide is your best man! Starts the day picking you up at your place, we did the road to Ohana tour, lots of fun and exciting things to see and great food to eat. Bryan’s medical/firefighter professional background experience will make you feel comfortable and safe. We swam in a waterfall, went through caves, ate great food, and saw soooo much nature. Bryan will also enlighten you with lots of interesting history and stories about Hawaii. Definitely sooo worth it and I would definitely do it again!!!

What a lovely day on the Road to Hana tour with Bryan as our guide. Bryan was extremely knowledgeable about Hawaiian history and all things on the road to Hana. The best part of the trip was how customizable Bryan made it for us on the day of. He moved at our pace and made the trip was what we wanted it to be. Thank you!

Hi this is heart and I would to know if you know there is any private boat can rent that departure from Kihei or wealie harbor for sunset cruise that can accommodate less than 10 people with dinner setup.
I want to have a high-end private business service for this sunset trip.
it is my first time in Maui and it is so hard to get such info online. I will use the boat on Dec 5th.

No, Unfortunately, the only sunset cruises I know of are not private. I think the boat that does dinner cruises is the "Quick Silver" that launches out of Ma'alaea Harbor, near Kihei/Wailea. But, there is more than one. Just Google "Sunset dinner cruises in Maui" and you'll get a whole list. Good luck.

Yes, it is a private tour so we can customize it to your interest and abilities. If you'd rather spend more time playing in waterfalls and jumping off cliffs and exploring caves, and less tie driving and sightseeing and story telling, we sure can do that!. We will be on a Princess cruise and will be in Maui for one day - Dec. 27, 2017. We have been to Maui before and love it. We would like a generalized sightseeing tour without swimming, etc. We would like a private tour for the two of us. My husband has an artificial leg and walks with a cane. He does very well, but we do walk slower than many people. That is one of many reasons why we enjoy private tours. Does this tour take disabilities into account? Also, is the fact that we have to tender in to the port matter? We assume that the tour guide will be aware that this might cause a delay.

I would like a driver and guide to take 4 of us "On the Road To Hana" on April 23rd. We have rented an SUV for the driver/guide. What would the cost be for 10 hours/we supply the auto/for 4 people? We are a party of 8 adults who will be in Maui for 1 day in September. We are arriving in Lahaina on a cruise ship at 8 am and the ship departs at 6pm. We would like to organise a driver and vehicle for 5 or 6 hours. With our time limitation not sure if the road to Hana or part of it is possible but we are open to any sightseeing suggestions. Would prefer to do land tour. I have found it difficult online to find a private tour for 8 people(limit usually 7)and to be picked up in Lahaina. Any suggestions and costs?
