This shop is located directly across from the Pacific Whale Foundation Shop in Wailuku.
Maui Gift Outlet is open early so that people going to see the whales can get a hot cup of coffee and a muffin before the trip.
The store prices are great and the owner is someone very special, affable and helpful. Oscar is his name.
My wife and I enjoyed our chats with Oscar and were disappointed that we could not have chatted with him longer. On our next visit to Maui we certainly will go back the see him.

Small shop. Cheezy souvenirs. Don't bother. However...there are other shops in the retail area that are worth your time!

Small gift shop but best prices overall in town. The prices are lowest on the island with daily specials, local owners whom have been in business 10+ years. They offer a variety of locally made items that would be a hit when getting gifts for friends and family. The owner was very useful and helped us with making local connections!
