ノースショアの森の中を散策できる乗馬コースです。また、最後には高台から美しい海を望むことができます。また、オーナーさんは優しい方で、馬をとても大事にしている方でした。私は日本人で一人参加でしたが、楽しかったです！！英語がちょっと…と思ってる方も、ぜひ参加してみてください！素敵な体験をありがとうございます！

Took our 6 year old son who requested a trail ride for a present. He loved every minute of our 1.5 hr ride (as did we!). Trail guides were so nice and helpful.

Great experience. I used to ride. Brought my children and now my grandchildren. Second time for grandchildren and they want to ride again. Due to cost, only take them yearly. This year invited additional 2 family guests and they enjoyed. The trail ride is a notch above Gunstock. I did Gunstock ride in April 2022, it is more commercialized, not as scenic.

Our group of 7 (ages 14 and up) had a great ride at Happy Trails. The Waimea Valley views were great. The 1.5 hour ride included a lot of time under the trees, including the beautiful pine forest, so it wasn't too hot. Mark and team were very hospitable, and gave us the history of the area and their polo horses.

Trail leaders were the absolute coolest. They kept the environment nice and relaxed but kept it fun. Time flew by. Make sure to leave them a nice tip!

The trail is beautiful and the horses are trained and gorgeous. My 9 year old daughter and I loved it! The guides are knowledgeable and nice. They made sure to explain the process, what to do, and how to ride properly. Overall, the best experience. We will definitely be coming back!

Very fun experience. Staff very friendly. Horses were well trained. Beautiful scenic route. We had kids with us ranging from age 10 thru 17. It was our first time on 1 5 hr trail on a horse. Kids were a little afraid at first, but once we started our trail, everyone was comfortable with their horses. Horses were easy to handle. Highly recommended Happy Trails Hawaii. Definitely would go again next time we visit Hawaii.

If you want a beautiful trail ride with friendly and knowledgeable guides then Happy Trails is the place. We were comfortable from the start of our experience. We loved the animals beyond the horses at the stable. There were chickens, a beautiful peacock and two sweet cats. Our family of four got matched up to the perfect horses. The trail ride has some nice variety and the horses are well trained and well treated. Our guides took some great family photos that we will always cherish. Go to Happy Trails for your next horseback riding adventure. You’ll be glad you did.

The ride was relaxing and had nice shaded areas to keep you cool. The staff provided great customer service. Very friendly and experienced. It it obvious that they have a passion for what they do.

Hello! I am an experienced rider, and I wanted to ask if there are any chances during the trail to canter/gallop? I've been on many trails during which it was strictly walking at all times. I understand this may be a safety issue, but I just wanted to ask. Thanks :)

We are unable to allow guests to canter/gallop our
horses as it presents a possible unsafe situation with mixed
ability riders in the group. Our trail rides are walking with some
trotting as we ride mountainside of Waimea Bay.

I was very surprised to read the review of your experience of our horseback trail ride. The joy that comes from being around these majestic, intuitive creatures along with riding through our kua aina is
an experience to be treasured. To think that we missed the mark for you to embrace this special mana is heartbreaking.
I welcome the opportunity to speak with you further. As we retire our horses far younger than you refer to, ride in bit less tack, and are praised for the quality of our herd of horses, this is most out of character for our operation. Upon speaking with you I will address the issue immediately. Likewise, I would like to provide you with your choice of a refund for your trail ride, or extend a complimentary ride to you. We embrace the aloha spirit , and upon your decision will do what is pono.

Your interest to horseback ride with your daughter at our Happy Trails Hawaii horse ranch is appreciated. Regret to advise that we are unable to accommodate a 4 year old rider. As only one rider is permitted in saddle on a horse, she is just a bit too young - our minimum age is 6 years, to navigate the trails with you and our other guests. and we charge $ 99.00 p.p. + tax.
Minimum age 6 years, all guests ride their own horse!
Taking small groups of 6 - 10 riders per tour, give us a call to reserve your horseback ride in paradise when you are ready!

We are most fortunate to have a couple dozen at our Happy Trails Hawaii horse ranch, that provide guided horseback rides year around.
We offer 1.5 and 2 hour tours ( tour times include a 15 minute riding overview & tack adjustment) to our guests, 7 days a week if the weather permits.
Rates range from $79 - $99 per person + tax. Both active duty U.S. Military and Kama'aina discounts are offered to those that qualify; government issued indentification required.
Likewise, simply mention you saw us on "TripAdvisor" when you make your reservation and we"ll give you a "TA5". That's $5 off our non-discounted rates for just sharing where you read about Happy Trails Hawaii!!
We hope to share our spirit of aloha and passion for horses with you soon.
