The Marketplace is at one end of the Polynesian Cultural Center, which makes it nice. You can do all your souvenir buying after you visit the PCC without having to carry several little bags all day long risking the chance of leaving them behind somewhere. You also don't pay an entrance fee to go shopping, so anytime you're in the area and want to stop & shop, you can.

Located beside the Polynesian Cultural Center grounds on the northeast side. A great place to shop & eat or just walk around. The marketplace is well run, clean & presentable. Shops, vendors, food trucks and the Pounders Restaurant are strategically set up to make the customers visit enjoyable. Even if it rains, people can easily find shelter. Merchandise and food prices are comparable to other marketplaces on the island. Staff at each establishment provide excellent customer service. We visited several times and enjoyed each visit.

Extremely nice people working in the shops. Delightful. Bought a jacket that had to be found for me (size) the gal did not give up until she found it! The Dole whip shop was inviting and yummy.

Great food spots, magnificent vendors and a variety of trinkets you won't find anywhere else. If you go at teh right time, you could experience a live performance or two in the open-air gazebo.

Not as many stores as I was expecting. Customer service was very good in all of them. Prices seemed a little high. Overall, ok.

The art they were selling was beautiful. Pricing is high but to be expected as a high tourist attraction. Did not have much time to see everything offered in all the shops.

Slightly disappointed in the Marketplace itself. Online said it opened at 11am. We got here at 11am and only 2 booths were open. One was just okay, okay prices and cute things, the other the ladies were very high pressure and pushy. Nothing else was open for quite a long time. Finally I think around noon? The other restaurants and stores opened. I was surprised by so many food booths. We did not eat at teh food booths because we had tickets for Gateway Buffet. But it was strange why there were so many food booths and not very many trinket booths, it was hard to kill the 1 hour and 45 minutes until the center opened for this reason. Finally, Goos Plantation Store opened and we did have good luck in there and shopped some before the park opened. The prices there were not bad at all and I bought a Hawaiian Plus Size dress for just $27! So hard to find Plus size, so I was excited for that. Overall was disappointed there was nothing to do for a good hour except those 2 booths when we first got there. But everything was open when we left and it looked really hopping then.

It was nice to have a large variety of souvenirs to choose from for the folks back home. Prices were comparable to any where else on the island, which is to say expensive, but we should expect high prices in a tourist area.
