While visiting Bar Harbor in July 2016 I set up an appointment for a massage with Massage Bar Harbor (I don't like the fluff massages you get at the hotels/Inns). Massage Bar Harbor has its own facility and it is very nice. I've had many massages over the years but this was by far the best. Jen was the massage therapist and she knew how to give a strong deep tissue massage. She understood my pain areas and worked on them carefully. The experience was A++++++ and I highly recommend this spa!

I live about an hour away from Massage Bar Habor, so it's not always easy for me to get there for a massage, but it is so worth the drive. I am always greeted with a friendly smile. I tend to carry the weight of the world on my shoulders, but when I leave I feel so much lighter and ready to conquer anything thrown at me. I would recommend Massage Bar Harbor for any massage needs, relaxation/stress reduction, deep tissue, or therapeutic. You name it, and they can accommodate. If you are looking for friendly service and a great massage look no further!

Went in with really tight neck and shoulders and Jenny dedicated the full hour to working them out. Can't wait to go back next season. Highly recommend!!

I have had several massages done there! They have always been professional, courteous and friendly! Nikki has been the best therapist I've ever had. I can't believe you would find anyone better!Their place is spotless, clean and easy to navigate. The oil used s excellant! There is never a greasy feeling and your skin radiates softness. There isn't much more you could ask for!

I am a Bar Harbor local and have gotten a massage twice from Nikki. I have had severe back pain for 2 years and Nikki completely worked it out for me. She is caring, gentle, genuine, and easy going. She takes pride in her shop which is beautifully decorated, in a cute spot on West Street. Perfect location for the mass crowds of the summer. I recommend a visit to everyone!

I work in Bar Harbor and Massage Bar Harbor at the Bar Harbor Body Shop has been a life-saver. Excellent massage therapists - especially owner Nikki and Emily. Located on the waterfront. Highly recommended.

During our mini-honeymoon through Canada and Maine, we stopped here for a 90 minute couples massage. The facility was very nice and the staff were lovely. Also, booking the appointment over the phone was very easy and we received email confirmations and reminders. My husband and I both had fantastic massages. We both swear our masseurs had three arms because we felt constant contact and then they would magically have more massage oil. We left very content and relaxed. Highly recommend!

Excellent massage. These women know their stuff. Salon is not luxury, but perfectly adequate. Very pleased. Down near the harbor area.

I have had two massages from Bar Harbor Body Shop. The first was from Jennifer who has an amazing gift at helping people feel relaxed and rejuvenated. She was able to work out all the knots in my muscles and did an exceptional job at masaging my feet.
My second massage was from Emily who is also an excellent masseuse. For me her touch was lighter but incredibly relaxing. She incorporates her whole body into the massage.
I highly recommend Bar Harbor Body Shop for your next massage.

Fabulous massage by Emily today - she ROCKS! Very relaxing but also she did stretching and worked out all my kinks - I will definitely return! Friendly staff and highly recommend going there for a massage.
