Asked for Swedish massage. Went with my hubby.Part of our resolution to relax every month. :) Asked for Light to medium. Anna really understood my body and gave me a nice massage. She improvised as it proceeded being light on certain parts of my body.Her head massage was wonderful.
I have tried at various places hoping to find a good masseuse. But I don’t think I need to go anywhere else now. Shubhada at King street is my go to place for massage and Anna my go to gal.

I've been going to Suchada for more than 7 years. I have tried several massage therapists, but all were generally good. They have incredible strength in their hands and always find the trouble spots on me. I like medium pressure, and am not put off by them walking on me, digging their knees into the back of my legs, etc. While it may not seem relaxing, it is indeed the therapeutic massage that I need!

Very clean, showers and sauna, cubicles seperated with cloths but it all works.
I took my 19 year old 6"6" nephew and when he walked in I could see the ladies look! This is a big guy! Very friendly, nice scents, men and women. My masseur was very professional, really got into the bends and the twists, perfect pressure. I recommend.

I was looking for a massage spot and most of the ones were booked up. Having never tried a thai massage before, thought to give them a try. They were able to take me in after I called them for a spot. The massage turned out to be great. I am a fan of thai massages now. Very thorough and professional. the place is small so its more communal no separate rooms.

I have been to Suchada several times and always leave so relaxed. They give you loose clothing to put on and then you lay on a low bed as the massage begins. Using their arms and legs they press into areas that are tight. At times they walk on your back but it is never without extreme caution . They always check with you to see your comfort level.if you've never tried this type of massage it's definitely a treat!

I've been coming to Suchada for 7 years. I've tried others in SF, but usually end up back here! I've been seen by a few therapists, male or female. Each have their strengths, but all have been courteous and I've generally not felt much dissatisfaction. They may be invasive for some in that they may "climb" on you, using their knees, walk on your back, use their feet to massage your legs & arms, fold you into different positions, etc. But I think that is what Thai style massage is, so for those uncomfortable with those styles, I don't recommend trying this style of massage.

If you like a hard massage that will work out all your knots, then Suchada is for you. You have to be brave to select 'hard' for pressure as these thai masters are more pwerful than you can imagine. I always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvinated.

my wife and i visited suchada for a couple's massage on her 30th birthday. the massage was great and the facilities were very nice. i recommend suchada highly!

Following advice from other Tripadvisor folks i booked a massage at the King street location. Good traditional thai massage with very few frills, you cna overhear the person in the cutained 'booth' next to you, but the therapsit was very good, strong and thorough in her treatment.
Be prepared for an upsell, my masseuse tried to get me to extend my time by saying there was a special on that day to extend for only $20. Found this quite annoying as it broke the rhythm of the body work, adn was done in a conspiratorial whisper which i thought was completely unnecessary. i had booked a 60 minute massage becasue that was the time I had available...
Also, as with all things it seems in the US, you will be asked to tip when you pay the receptionist after your session, include a 10-20% gratuity in your understanding of the cost of the massage and you'll be fine.
