After a full day at the battlefield this was a perfect ending. Nice atmosphere, music, snacks, good wines. Very nice tasting with pleasant staff. If they were around our home we would visit all the time. When they say at the edge of the battlefield they are not kidding. Very convenient.

While a rustic setting, the barn where wine was served was a comfortable location to sample wine, snack, and enjoy the company.

We really liked the setting -- just next to Antietam Battlefield, right on the tour road. The barn was lovely. We tried the white sangria and it was good. The reason we didn't give a 5 star is that their food truck vendor wasn't up and running for almost an hour after the vineyard opened, which forced us to find other food for lunch. We took home a bottle of the pinot noir which we also enjoyed (but thought it a bit too pricey).

A wonderful venue . Right on the battlefield park this winery had some great wines.
If you were in the area I would recommend make an appoint to stop here and spend a little time enjoying the scenery as well as the wine.

We visited at the end of our travel day. It was a cold day, but the views were still amazing.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had glasses of wine and talked with staff. It had a local vibe that was relaxed and inviting.
The wines we had were good and we ended up buying what we tried.

We happened upon this vineyard by chance and stopped in. It is a very nice venue which had live music, wine and snacks.

After touring the Antietam National Battlefield for a couple hours, we made a plan to visit the vineyard and were not disappointed. We visited during the summertime, and they were offering a delightful white wine served with frozen peaches that was just what we needed after a long, hot day. The only thing we wished this place would have had was a food menu, but they do offer a lovely picnic area outside the vineyard if you don't want to sit inside. They also offer live music usually which is a nice touch. Overall, pack a lunch and head here while visiting the battlefield, you won't regret it. Just come prepared with water because after visiting the battlefield in the hot sun for a while, wine may not be the best thing for you.

We have been to many vineyards in Maryland and Virginia. This is a small, lovely one situated right next to the battlefield. You actually have to drive through the battlefield to get to it. The tasting room is a barn that overlooks corn fields. They Saturday we visited their were food trucks and a band. We did a tasting. The wines are well crafted. They are excellent and dry. We particularly like the Albarino.

We were delighted to try their mostly dry wine selections. The Cab Franc and Chardonnay were particularly good. If you like sweet, the peach wine was also very interesting. The barn set up is open and pleasant. Easy to have a picnic on site here. We didn't even know about the winery initially. We literately saw the small brown sign on our way out from the battlefield and drove into the winery.

Wanted a relaxing afternoon and found it here! Good wine, beautiful setting and the music of Taulton- Bonham Duo. Loved it! Just what we needed. Going to return after a driving tour of the Antienam Battlefield - soon.

they had cheese crackers and some other snack type foods. It was raining the day that I was there but I would imagine it would’ve been no problem bringing in food. In fact sitting inside I saw another couple that had brought something in to eat. The wine is outstanding and the scenery is gorgeous. Hope you get a chance to see it
