Located adjacent to Antietam Battlefield, this winery was a low-key, relaxed spot to enjoy a glass of wine or taste a flight of different wines. The tasting room is in an open-air barn with tables and chairs to sit in. Visitors are encouraged to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages to their vineyard, where they have picnic tables under shade trees. When we visited they had a live band playing at the picnic area. From the open air barn, you can also hear the live music, which was nice.
We purchased a great tasting bottle of Chardonnay as a result of the visit. Other items such as short sleeved cotton t-shirts with the vineyard's logo ($18) and logo'ed wine glasses ($3 each) can also be purchased here.

Great spot to chill outside or in the partial indoor/outdoor building. Right by the battlefield with lovely landscape views. Ample & delicious wine flights. Affordably priced bottles of wines worth buying to take extra home. Food truck & live band ( jazz the day I was there). Friendly service & clean indoor bathrooms. Dog friendly too with treats & bowls of water. Definitely recommend!

If you enjoy being insulted by a pursed-lipped rude lady with absolutely no clue how to treat people with respect, this is your stop!
We were planning on buying 3-5 bottles of wine and 3 of us asked to try 2 wines. The lady basically asked us if we were planning on buying before we got too deep into this....?
Does she realize that most professional adults taste test before buying wine at any other winery on this planet???
We asked to try 2....not 20!
We are normally HUGE tippers but she got zero tip which is what this review should be.
By the way....the wine is very low quality. $35 red blend...

Our Wine Club took a field trip there and it was a WONDERFUL experience. We got a tour of the Vineyard and the Processing Area and of course, tastings. I was surprised how good some of the wines were; Maryland is not known for their great wines. I would highly recommend a visit!

Die Winery lässt sich gut mit einem Besuch des Battlefield verbinden. In der Scheune kann man die Weine verkosten und Kleinigkeiten zum Essen kaufen. Draußen sind schöne Bänke für ein Picknick. Es gibt auch Wein aus den selbst angebauten Pfirsichen.

Didn’t have time to try the wine but stopped in as it is literally beside the tour road at Antietam battlefield. Location was peaceful and staff were helpful. Bought some wine to try at home.

After a full day at the battlefield this was a perfect ending. Nice atmosphere, music, snacks, good wines. Very nice tasting with pleasant staff. If they were around our home we would visit all the time. When they say at the edge of the battlefield they are not kidding. Very convenient.

While a rustic setting, the barn where wine was served was a comfortable location to sample wine, snack, and enjoy the company.

We really liked the setting -- just next to Antietam Battlefield, right on the tour road. The barn was lovely. We tried the white sangria and it was good. The reason we didn't give a 5 star is that their food truck vendor wasn't up and running for almost an hour after the vineyard opened, which forced us to find other food for lunch. We took home a bottle of the pinot noir which we also enjoyed (but thought it a bit too pricey).

A wonderful venue . Right on the battlefield park this winery had some great wines.
If you were in the area I would recommend make an appoint to stop here and spend a little time enjoying the scenery as well as the wine.

they had cheese crackers and some other snack type foods. It was raining the day that I was there but I would imagine it would’ve been no problem bringing in food. In fact sitting inside I saw another couple that had brought something in to eat. The wine is outstanding and the scenery is gorgeous. Hope you get a chance to see it
