A ‘must do’ if the weather allows. Stunning views, fun caves and rock formations to explore, and peaceful. Did the full day Meyers Beach option and the time was perfect. Lunch was catered from Coco’s and was phenomenal (and we noted on our reservation that there was a nut allergy and they took it seriously, which is a rarity). Great, friendly workers from the desk staff to the driver to our guide, George. Absolutely recommend!

This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Apostle islands! We booked our kayak trip a month ahead, which was nice. It rained the whole trip, but our guides still made it a super cool experience (we don't mind the rain anyway) and I think seeing it in the rain made the rocks and lake even more beautiful! Was definitely worth the money to book this.

We had a wonderful time on the 3-hour caves tour. We lucked out and had perfectly calm water, so paddling was easy and we were able to see a lot. Our guides, Paige and her counterpart (sorry, forgetting her name) were both very knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to get out on Lake Superior but not wanting to commit a whole day.

My husband and I took the 3-hour sea caves tour. Ella and Mads were great, informative guides. It was beautiful; I would go again.

We had a wonderful time on our full day sea caves tour. Alex and Dane were our guides. They were fun, knowledgeable, and we felt safe and cared for throughout the trip.

I was terrified in starting the three hour kayak trip through the Sea Caves in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore off Meyer's Beach. Mae and Bergman from Trek and Trail (out of Bayfield, WI) were excellent guides. Mae was my partner and took the pictures. These pictures really do not do justice. Even the crashing sound of the waves in the caves were awesome. We got into and through all the passageways. Mae had her hands full in those areas keeping me alive! Such a polite, talented gal.
Highly recommended. I am in a state of peace now, but I will be sore tomorrow.

Hands down one of the best guided trips we've been on. Trek & Trail and our guide Aidan went above and beyond to make our Apostle Islands experience like none other. If you're up for it, I recommend an overnight trip. We took the 6 day/5 night trip and felt like it provided ample opportunity to immerse ourselves in the islands as well as strengthen our kayaking skills. Sea caves, lighthouses, hikes, ship wreaks, rocks, diverse vegetation, rain, thunderstorms, wind, rolling waves and water as smooth as glass. We experienced it all; Lake Superior and the Apostles did not disappoint. Whether you chose a 1/2 day, full day, 3 day or 6 day trip, 10/10 would recommend Trek & Trail for your Apostle Islands experience.

Highly recommend Trek and Trail- they have high standards for safety and provided a fabulous outing for us with a guided overnight trip to Sand island. Our guide Ali had a wealth of knowledge and experience and we were able to explore caves on both days as well as took a hike to lighthouse. The food was delicious and large portions. They take care of all the details so we could enjoy kayaking and exploring!

Mike and Mads were absolutely excellent guides - professional and fun! We spent time going over how to paddle and safety before setting off to see some awesome caves. We did the full day Meyers Beach - we got wet suits that kept us warm, delicious lunch (I'm vegan and they had an awesome vegan option - including dessert!!!) and great information about the Apostle islands, caves, etc. Highly recommend! If you only do one thing in Bayfield - do this!

The sand island trip is a must do….trek and trail takes you to places safely you cannot do on your own..they personalised and showed us all the cool caves and rocky beaches of sand island with a lunch at the lighthouse .John and Quinn fun friendly and extremely capable
