A employee of mine has urged me to stop into Game Xcape since he knew I collected and played retro video games. However I've never had much leisure time while in the Asheville area. However I made it a point to stop in this evening before heading to my hotel and I was glad I did.
They had a pretty good selection of both older games as well as newer games. Prices were pretty fair on most of the items I looked at. I ended up walking out with a loose Genesis game, 2 loose NES games and a complete in box TurboGrafx-16 game that I just couldn't leave behind.
The gentleman working the store was very polite and made sure all my needs were met. He even threw a small discount my way on my purchases. The store may not have been the nicest retro game store I've visited, but they have a lot going for them.
