A mess of name brand stores.
Nothing special.
Parking is difficult.
Go if you must but I warned you.
Boring waste of time.

A cute shopping area. Disappointed with the amount of chain stores that were there and not boutiques and then disappointed with the boutique prices. But it is a beautiful area and I enjoy the German architecture in the area.

My wife and I decided to spend our 33rd wedding anniversary at Biltmore so we chose the hotel for our stay. I can say the hotel was a disappointment. We spent the day and the Biltmore house that was amazingly beautiful and awesome but as far as the hotel not so awesome. We got done with our daily adventures and went back to the room and about 8:30 pm we was hungry and wanted something to eat well to our surprise the 2nd floor rests was closed the first floor cafe was closed and Cedric’s was the only place open until 9pm. I went there at 8:30 and asked if I could get a Togo order and was told no because they were to busy so we checked out the next morning and ate on the way. Our next visit to Biltmore we will be staying in a hotel in town.

Always a charming oasis away from the hustle and bustle of larger cities. We go out of our way to eat a meal or two in the Village while we are in Asheville.

The conservatory was fabulous and we also enjoyed seeing the formal garden and rose gardens. Also, the house tour was well-organized and informative!

This "village" is a nice walking area with the usual chain stores. Very touristy! There is the All Souls church which is a must see if you are into architecture as it's designed by Richard Morris Hunt and the only church still remaining that he built. We stopped for lunch at the Wayside Station and it was very good and in a historic building.

I've had the pleasure of visiting the Biltmore several times, and each experience has been absolutely delightful, regardless of the season. The grandeur of the Biltmore house is unparalleled, making the tour well worth it, even though the ticket price is a bit steep at $80.00 per person. The maintained Biltmore gardens are a visual treat, & the charming Biltmore village adds to the overall enchantment, providing a lovely backdrop for a leisurely stroll. The kids in our group thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the various animals on the estate, and we were lucky enough to spot baby chickens—almost took some home with us!

There are maybe 15 higher end shops-many are chain stores you can visit in any big city. The buildings are quaint and look very historic. It would be cool if there were some more locally owned, unique shops. Not many restaurants either-and everything closed down by 6 pm.

Though it was rainy, the historical buildings were interesting. There are some shops for the must have items. There is free wine tasting but the line was very long & not moving. A hint would be to just go to the wine bar & pay for what you would like to try.

I’m making a reservation to Ruth’s Chris on Thanksgiving Day, it is listed as Biltmore Village. Is it in the estates property? Do I have to pay a parking fee?
撰写日期:2021年10月17日
Many others have answered and I concur. Free parking, not on Biltmore Estate

IS the Biltmore estate open this year first week of January 2021? (Or )maybe Dec. 30/31
Same question for the Biltmore village restaurants and shopping due to Covid - didn't know if they were open or not.
Thanks in advance.

They follow North Carolina phase 2 reopening schedule with limited capacity, hours and admission. Best to keep up to date on the newest development on line or call 800-411-3812.

Due to covid 19 The Biltmore estate will not be open when we plan to be there. Does anyone know if there is ANY vantage point in which to view the estate for a photo? Is there any entrance available or limited access to drive around the grounds? The website does not address this question specifically.
thank you

If the main gate is closed or blocked there is no way to drive closer to the Chateau for photos...its quite a ways into the middle of the Estate. If they have closed the hotel and shops as well, you will also not be able to drive into or around the huge estate. You cannot just walk/hike in.
They are very strict about who can go into the Estate even in a normal year...you need a specific date and tickets to do so. However, I had a lot of questions before we went last Thanksgiving...and I e-mailed off of the website link and did get specific answers. You could try that to verify that they are not allowing drive-throughs.

Hi. What is the cost for a daytime adult visit to the gardens and house at Biltmore in April, say the middle of April? Do you offer a senior discount?
撰写日期:2020年1月17日
$79.95 for all of the estate at your leisure ,shuttle throughout included. Wine tasting Yes I got a $10.00 senior discount.

Yes there is parking underneath one whole row of buildings in the village. There are buildings without under parking but parking on the street but it is hard to get - have to catch someone leaving. Park once and walk around if you like to walk or are able to do that.

Dogs are allowed on the Biltmore Village grounds, as far as being allowed in establishments/stores, that is left up to the individual owners. The Village is usually pretty crowded, so for dogs that typically don't do well with crowds and congestion, it may not be the place. Leashes are required.

Hello, we are planning a tour of the Biltmore House tomorrow at 12:30 and would like to do brunch at the Village to be close. Recommendations and the best places to eat?
撰写日期:2017年1月28日
I am so very sorry that I just found this. I hope you found The Corner Kitchen for your brunch. There are numerous other
restaurants in the Village that have just as delicious food.
You will also find a casual lunch or fine dining at the Red Stag located inside the Grand Bohemian.
