I was busy with 5 days of meetings at the Boston Convention Center and didnt get time for sightseeing. The Convention Center is in the Seaport area, which has lots of new construction but lacks restaurants and entertainment.

Even though the vendor offerings were smaller than expected, I was attractive to what was available. Local farmers, bakers and tasty treats await you. You can fill your shopping cart with weekly fresh produce and breads knowing you are helping the local community.

This is a shell of what it once was, now it is really just your typical sized farmers market on one smaller lot with 2-3 food trucks. Really disappointing based on the size and scale of what it used to be in years past :(.

As usual parking is biggest hurdle. Here for winter festival and have been here for Sunday market. All the vendors are top notch and everyone working there does great job of wanting you to be comfortable (and spend money...lol). Will keep visiting!

The SoWa Open Market was a fun and relaxing place. There was entertainment with singers and even a juggling show. The food and shopping choices were varied. The day was beautiful, and I even went on a hop-on bus tour to learn the history of the area. A very enjoyable visit.

We had a great time at the SoWa Market! Lots of vendors selling quality goods such as handmade, vegan, & natural products. There was a great selection of food and places to sit and eat. We also had great conversation with the vendors!

I found a unique Christmas gift for my brother, fresh food (bread, cheese and tomatoes) for my meals through the week and had a great lunch of an oyster poboy and beer while listening to live music. Had a great time watching all the young families enjoying the vibe in the beer garden/food truck space

Parking is convenient and only $10 , a bargain for a city event. One area had a grouping of food trucks, able to split up and sample lots of different lunch options, beer trucks, even had water bowls for our dog that we brought. Another area just a short walk away had lots of crafts, art, vendors, lots of fun to walk around. The Farmers Market included produce, cheeses, breads, etc, along with desserts, and flowers. Dispersed between the markets are art galleries that you can walk through and see where artists are creating many different types of art. Very interesting and enjoyable day.

A friend who lives in Boston took me here when I was visiting the city for the day, and it was well worth the stop. We went on a Sunday when the farmer's market was open as well, and I'm already wishing I could go to back. There were tons of unique artists, farmers, artisans, and other vendors there and it was a lot more diverse than other lineups I've seen at craft fairs and the like. It was a very hot day when we visited so I wasn't able to investigate everything as closely as I'd like or purchase as much as I'd want, but I hope to go back in the fall now I know what I can expect and what to be prepared to buy. We were able to grab some italian ice when we were there and it was really delicious, and I hear they have food trucks as well - next time I'm going to look for those as well. Can't wait to go back!
