The tour guides were excellent, especially Johnny Boston, and it was a lot easier to get around the city on the trolley than if we would have driven & tried to park at all the locations. I highly recommend Cityview Trolley Tours & I will definitely take the tour again when I return to Boston with my family.

I went on a tour as an outing from work and it was both informative and fun! Joe was our driver/guide and he was wonderful- very knowledgeable, funny, and personable. I would highly recommend this tour as a great way to get to know the city and have some laughs along the way.

Papa Jim gave one of the best tours we have been on. Very thorough and informative trip. This company is more expensive than others but they have several buses so that when you hop on/ hop off , the wait for the next bus not very long.

We had a wonderful time on our city tour! Would highly recommend! Our driver was knowledgeable and fun! City view Trolley is the way to get to know Boston! Well done !

This tour was amazing! Johnny Boston absolutely made the whole trip. He was funny AND informative. Best driver, hands down. I didn’t even want to get off the trolley because I was having so much fun. 10/10 would ride again. I’ll tell all my friends! Thanks, Johnny!

Loved this tour so much! Johnny Boston made the tour. We had so many laughs. He was an excellent driver and navigated the happenings around the city with such ease. Highly, highly recommend this tour.

What a great experience. Our driver was excellent and very knowledgeable about the city. I would highly recommend Cityview Trolley. I just wish the weather was better.
PS. We met the owner of the company and he was super nice. A really funny guy!

The tour was great. BEWARE. You have to find 1 of the stops to get on initially. They should include cross streets for stops. No one answered the phone when we got off the train near tge stop. We had trouble finding the stop listed as Boston Common/Public Gardens. We had to ask several people before getting near enough to pick-up area to see a trolley passing. The driver was extremely knowledgeable. He added his personal experience as a Bostonian. He interacted with us along the way. He even sang a few times.

My wife, some friends, and I headed up to Boston for a quick 3 day weekend. Booking the trolley for Saturday was a great idea. It was affordable, informative, and gave a good spin around the city. You can hop off at 9 different stops and hop back on throughout the day. The drivers we had were fantastic and Johnny Boston was hilarious. I'd definitely recommend the trolley as an easy way to see the city if it's your first time. It also helps cut out some walking if you need a break.

Where EXACTLY is the stop#4 USS Constitution?? This is the closest to Residence Inn on Tudor Wharf…but the official map doesn’t really help at all. Is it on Constitution Rd toward Chelsea or on other side coming from Chelsea onto Constitution Rd?

Hi, all tickets are valid for the 1 day...we do have upgrades for a 2 nd day at our main stop 1.
My sister and I just bought tickets for the trolley tour. We have 4 -5 hours in boston. Any recommendations for us as to what stops we need to do. We are limited on time and have never been to Boston.

May seem like a silly question..........I am a senior woman who would be traveling/walking alone........is the walking required to see the various sights in safe areas? My husband will be busy at his function and I'd like to see the city........any help would be appreciated!

Absolutely. Lots of people everywhere all the time. Exciting energy. I have lived near or in Chicago, Philadelphia, Sao Paulo, and Memphis and have travelled in NYC and San Francisco, Atlanta, Miami and through Europe and Canada..hands down we felt absolutely safe in Boston from early a.m. to later p.m.

I bought the tour on groupon. I read some reviews that stated I can only get my tickets from the voucher on stop 1, is this correct?
Also I read that it is only 1 round trip, so I couldn't take the entire tour then hop on and hop off freely the rest of the day? (I couldn't get off at stop 8 and then reboard at stop 2?)

We also purchased our tickets at Groupon and went straight to stop 1 to get our tickets but along the tour they picked up others that didn’t have their tickets yet and just informed them to get them when they got to stop 1. As far as the tour we road the whole tour once to see where we wanted our stops to be then started to get on and off as we pleased. Not a one time deal that’s for sure:). We got on and off all day until the last pick up. Just find the stops and they will pick you up whether it be dropped off at 2 and picked up at 8. Hope this helps. Enjoy
