the marine park and castel island in boston is the perfect recreation area close to the bostoner city. whether you walk, jogg, run, practise tai chi or yoga, watch your children play on the well maintained lawns or walk your dog, the fresh sea breez will calm you down and take all the stress off you. marine park and castel island are two green areas you really can let go and enjoy the nature.

Marine Park is a medium sized park located on City Point in South Boston. The park offers views of Boston Harbor, the Harbor Islands, and enclosed Pleasure Bay. The park is lined with benches where you can sit, relax, and watch the water. It also includes an indoor skating rink and other outdoor sports facilities. It is accessible via public transit on the 9, 10, and 11 buses. There is no charge to use the beach on Pleasure Bay.

Marine Park in south Boston is a large jetty enclosed area. Part is sandy beach. There is a walkway all the way around with 2 short bridges. Total walk distance is probably about 1.5 to 2 miles. The area makes for a nice walk or run or just sitting on a bench or on the beach. We were here in early October, so may be pretty crowded during the summer, but was not in October though it was sunny and 60 degrees. If go, also walk Broadway St. East and West for some interesting shops and eateries.

Passeio a Marina muito interessante. Havia um apresentação de ópera ao ar livre com muitas pessoas sentadas, deitadas na grama assistindo. Dia de calor (30/06/13), sorvete e água gelada!

Outstanding show!! On a circus tent... Wonderfull production and performance!! The seat could have been more comfortable.....a little too tight ... But the performance was delightful!!

I havent been to any of the other Cirque du Soleil's, so I dont know what to compare this too, so I gave it a very good. The location was cool, it was walking distance to everything at the Seaport. We had dinner at Del Frisco's and then went to the show. The set up was probably the best they could do with tents and mobile facilities. The portable toilets were nicer than your average toilets. Food and drinks were quite expensive, a 12 oz. beer was $9. The show was awesome, the skill and creativity was awesome. If you havent seen one of these shows, or like them and want to see another one, this one is very cool. Thanks

What a lovely place to host Totem, the new Cirque du Soleil show. Easy to get to and some good choices for dining before or after the show.
