What a fantastic experience! We’ve been to magic shows before but this performance was next level. Paul comes across as a genuinely nice guy who is passionate about his craft. And the tricks he performs will knock your socks off!
The venue is an intimate setting in a historic hotel (Omni Parker House). We were sitting in the high stools in the third row and we could see everything. A couple of tricks were done directly on the table and Paul invited us to come closer to ensure we didn’t miss anything. A couple of times I literally stood right beside him at his urging, and I still could not detect how he did it. Amazing. We walked away shaking our heads and were still talking about it days later. Highly recommend this show if you are in Boston!

It was my first magician show and Paul was amazing. We had a great time, and enjoyed not only the magic but the stories of his evolution as a performer. I would love to see it again soon.

Paul and the lovely Christina were just wonderful, and it was a true gift to meet them. I left Paul’s show feeling a sense of not only wonder and awe, but with a renewed appreciation and gratitude for my life.
While Paul’s magic knows no bounds, his unique ability to tell a story while simultaneously dazzling with a trick, especially those he told about his late father and how he impacted Paul, forever cemented this evening into my memories.
Thank you Paul and Christina! This magic show has been the best thing since I moved to Boston.

The show was amazing, had so much fun meeting Paul and his lovely wife and got nice pictures with him! It was a show that had a story and heart to it and the tricks themselves were so good! It was awesome seeing the sleight of hand up close from an expert and the trick with Lilly was incredible and basically impossible. Would definitely recommend coming to the show if you're in the area and supporting Paul.

As a former professional magician, I can say that Paul Gertner is among the best close-up performers on the planet. Whether you are a seasoned pro or simply a fan of magic, Paul will take you on a journey filled with magic, wonder, and mystery. The intimate setting allows you to see everything and be part of the show. His polished technique and story telling give you an experience you will never forget. Also, he and his wife were super kind to my 15 year old nephew (see pic)!

I came into this event having no idea what to expect, as I'd never been to a magic show before or knew much about Paul Gertner himself. I ended up being completely captivated for the entire hour and a half, and am still thinking about some of the tricks he performed days later. Although the magic and sleight of hand themselves were incredibly well done, what I enjoyed the most was Paul's personality and the way in which he included his upbringing, family, and personal experiences into the show. His passion and dedication shine through and make it impossible not to share in his excitement and joy! I highly recommend checking this out, especially if you haven't been to an event like it before!

I went to this show with my wife, sister and friend, and we all had a fantastic time! I’ve never seen magic this close up before - the room is very small, and in fact Mr. Gertner invited us to come up closer for several tricks, which we’re still talking about days later because we can’t even start to understand how they’re possible. He’s also very charismatic and I enjoyed his stories about his life and family almost as much as the magic itself! Would recommend to anyone and I’ll probably come again and bring someone new along!

So entertaining. It’s a small group, you really get to be involved and see everything up close. It makes it that much more amazing when you are delighted and confounded by what you see. The performance is polished in a great way. Great patter and rapport, incredible tricks, and everyone engaged.

So it’s pretty amazing watching close up magic from a few feet away and having no idea how it’s done. What makes the evening even more special are the memorable personal stories interwoven with the illusions. Paul is not only a master magician but has a wonderful sense of theater. He also involves the whole audience and made sure we were all included. My teenage son proclaimed it “much more entertaining than I thought it would be!” (Note that this is high praise coming from him.)
