Nice tour with good beer 👍👍

We came here for the 45 minute tour/tasting and found it to be very informative and enjoyable. Our tour guide was great and so was the beer! The store on the way out was great too we purchased 2 “perfect pint glasses” and 4 different beers. I was glad we came here! I will say though I found it ridiculous and unnecessary that they had a rainbow flag hanging outside. Sell me beer not transgenderism.

Not much of a "tour", but there's beer.

There isn't much to see here anymore so the tour consists of two rooms. Thankfully, the guide was great and engaging and provided lots of beer. For $10, no complaints!

Not much of a tour in this this tour

We took the Signature Experience tour that is really nothing more than walking into a room and listening to a guide to you how beer is made while pointing to a few tanks. I thought maybe you’d walk into a couple buildings to see the facility, but everything happens within about a 200 foot radius of the entrance. While listening to the guide you get a beer sample. Afterwards you go into the bar area to learn how to taste a beer followed by how their beer glass was invented. In that room pitchers of beers are on the table. A final sampling of a R&D test beer is given. I’m glad it wasn’t any very expensive.

Interesante Experiencia con sabor a cerveza

Muy buena experiencia, se puede llegar tanto en transporte publico como en auto, hay un parqueo pequeño pero suficiente para las visitas. El Tour guiado es muy interesante te hablan sobre la historia y algunos tipos de cerveza (podrian agregar algo mas como el proceso de produccion o al menos un ejemplo ) nos dieron a probar cervezas y tiene un ba y una tienda muy acogedores al final con buenos precios y un excelente ambiente.
Espero en una proxima visita nos muestren mas sobre el proceso de produccion

Take the free tour!

This is one of the absolute best free tours that you should go on. The guides are fantastic, you get served free beer and it's only about 30 minutes. Oh did I mention that it's FREE & you get served FREE BEER! They do accept donations though that go to local charities and my recommendation is that you donate because it is the right thing to do. Now back to the tour, they run about every 20 minutes, so if you miss one don't stress. They do not serve food, so I recommend bringing a lunch/ picnic and having some more beer after the tour. It is kid friendly and they offer root beer for those who don't drink beer. This review is for 2018. Didn't realize that I never finished it. Been sitting in my drafts. Highly recommend the tour though.

Cool building, relaxed vibe, but not actually a "tour". Nothing seemed to be happening at the time. There was one stop where you can see the equipment and then it's off to the tasting room. Maybe it's lengthier when the weather is warmer? Not a bad thing to do if you like beer, but if you aren't into beer, you probably won't enjoy it. The facility is a little out of the way from most of the other Boston activities.

Always great visit!

Loved the beer flight options - created our own… one all IPA and one variety with suggestions from the person working the bar. Also ordered a Bay State Lager for our lager lover. We ordered a batch of the cookies which were delicious and warm served with a side of whipped cream.

The beer flights were so good and there wasn’t a beer we didn’t enjoy always a great place to stop in and enjoy a beer. It was cold and the rooftop was closed but there was plenty if space indoors and the TVs were playing college basketball with the upcoming March Madness.

Vraiment une belle expérience

Probablement la visite de brasserie la plus intéressante que j'ai eu la chance de faire jusqu'à maintenant. C'est un mixte de divertissement et d'apprentissage, le tout dans un cadre vraiment super plaisant.

VIP tour is great!

I had done the regular tour several years ago, so this trip opted for the VIP tour to learn more about the R&D they do.

Tour was great and our guide was extremely personable and knowledgeable.

Got some cool, unique freebies (like a can of experimental beer) that will be a talking piece in our bar in the basement at home.

Esperienza fantastica, guida molto alla mano anche se bisogna masticare un po di inglese. Diversi tipi di birra offerta, se passate per Boston vale assolutamente la pena fare un salto alla Samuel Adams Brewery!
