I have lived in Boston for my entire life (45 years) and this is my favorite bar in all of Boston. I love a good rooftop bar, and this is simply the best the city has to offer. There is a ton of space and the views of Boston Harbor and the Seaport district are spectacular. The drinks are fantastic and the wait staff is so incredibly attentive and friendly. I cannot say enough good things about the experience and I encourage anyone who likes hanging out with good friends in an outdoor setting to give it a try.

The view here is incredible, very much worth any wait or line. We came two weeks ago on a Saturday (our second or third visit here) and the staff was excellent Tonzy was our bartender for most of our experience and he is just as personable and funny as he is quick and knowledgeable. Management is surprisingly present for a bar. Most places you’ll find it rather difficult to distinguish who the manager is, but here they’re around and happy to help. Tyler helped us find a place to sit despite it being very busy. Strongly recommend you book a table in advance if you’re looking to sit, it will sell out quick!
The only knock we had here, which wasn’t worth taking a star away, was that the music was quite different from our past visits. Whatever the selection is now has transitioned into a mix of oldies, hip hop, house, and Latin. Last time we were here it felt more hip and there was a good mix of just hip hop and house music. At that point it definitely felt more modern and what the crowd was looking for. This time it was a bit all over the place. Definitely a little outdated and disappointing, but again, still worth it!

I expected to be a much taller building, but the rooftop is nice. We had a IPA beer and a mocktail. I could try the IPA’s before choosing one which was kind. It has a lookout over the city and a bit of the water. Another building is in its way to see the full water view.

This is primarily an evening bar, and it is reputed to be quite good. It is also serves lunch, and while the setting is nice, the menu is quite limited. The food, though, is pretty good, and service is too.

Came for drinks after dinner for a first date. Taken aback by the hospitality of Tyler, Steve and Rachel! Had an amazing night as we sat comfortably in a heated igloo looking at the Boston skyline on a cold winter night. The great drinks certainly helped us keep warm!

My name is Christine K.; on Friday, December 17th, my husband, myself, and a couple of friends went to The Lookout Rooftop and Bar "Igloo's" for the first time.
This night was fabulous, all due to your employee's hard work, Maia P. We had to change our reservations a couple of times (maybe more, I have lost count), and Maia was right on top of all our quick and frequent requests. Her email correspondence was always cheerful and accommodating. She was knowledgeable about your company and wanted to do anything she could to make our night special. She is the definition of management hospitality.
I had the opportunity to meet Maia the night we came in, and after a long day, she was still upbeat, pleasant, and still asking us if we needed anything! She is an asset to your staff, and I will be telling all my friends to go to The Lookout Rooftop and Bar and ask for Maia's assistance if you need anything. She is simply fantastic. I would be proud to have her on your team.

Amazing views for a great spot to meet up with friends. Would recommend a reservation and get one about 1/2 an hour before sunset so you can see the beauty of the city. Drinks were a bit over prices as to be expected.

How old do you have to be to go up to the rooftop?

As a hotel guest, there is no limit since all guests have access at all time to the rooftop. However for non-guests, IDs are checked since it is understood that those persons are going to the bar versus just sightseeing. So for non-guests, I think you have to be 21.
