We walked to the stadium from our hotel and quickly passed through security. The Hall of Fame was interesting and compact. There are many food and drink options. The fans were pleasant and well behaved. The scoreboard displayed more statistics than most ballparks.

We went to Petgo Park to catch a Padre's game during our stay in San Diego. I must say it is one of the better ball parks that I have been to.

Bag policy sucks, staff was rude about it, which put a damper on our whole experience. The locker option, a parked rental truck across from the gate, was not secure. Just hire enough staff to do proper security checks so people can bring in a reasonably sized purse. Won’t be back.

Rudy was such a good tour guide! He has so much passion for the team and it was reflected in the quality of the tour. He was so thorough in showing us the stadium, telling us the history, and making sure everyone had a great experience. Couldn’t recommend it more!

The corridors have no continuity, a corridor number like 108 that you look for inside 101 to 110 obviously but when you get to 107 they tell you that only 108 is on the OTHER SIDE OF THE STADIUM, you lose a lot of time between so many people and the big stadium to go from one end to the other.

Not on my good list. The sight lines when walking around concessions and halls r terrible. Expensive. Just all round crappy. Others say this is the best but nope.

It had been a few years since I was able to attend a Padres game here at Petco Park. I can't remember exactly how long, but the park is still gorgeous, and the weather was perfect.
Entry into the park was extremely easy, and finding the seats wasn't difficult either, although as with any stadium you're not familiar with, finding the right section could be a bit of a challenge, as it was for us. Regardless, it only took a few minutes, and we were in the right spot. Once sat, we went to get some food and the method in which food is bought is pretty nice and not something I was too familiar with. What I mean is, you pick up your own food kind of like a grocery store and then take it to the register to pay. I do wish they gave you a bag or something to carry the food if you're buying quite a bit. Buying food for 5 at a stadium can be a challenge when carrying it all, and the little drink carrier doesn't cut it when you have four drinks, pretzels, hot dogs, peanuts, red vines, chips and cheese, etc.
A note on the food, I'm sure no one is surprised to hear that feeding 5 at a stadium cost me in excess of $140.00. So be prepared for that.
Aside from that, the experience was great, the game was great, as A's fans, the Padres fans were wonderful. Definitely recommend it to anyone for a fun night out.

Hi we arrived before the game and there were no vendors outside the park there is parking in 2 lots and very expensive the team store was very busy lots of options.....from sale stuff to pricey!
the park itself is not in a great area so recommend staying close to
the park not trying to find street parking and the staff was very
helpful,,,,also no cash!!! have a blast

Going to Petco park, but am on crutches. Is there parking lot close to Petco park that offers free shuttle to the stadium? Or would it be best to take a taxi to the park. Do NOT have a handicapped parking sticker for our car. Am limited to amount of walking I can do on crutches. Advise??? Thanks!

I highly recommend taking taxi or Uber/ Lift vs parking (there is limited parking as the stadium is a down town locale). They can bring you right up to stadium entrances. There are plenty of elevators and escalators serving all levels of the stadium. Also the stadium service staff are very helpful and plentiful! Have fun!

spectacular venue . Seldom over crowded. All seats are good.
Many people walk around the park and explore through out the game as well.
You will enjoy your time at this laid back family friendly venue.
