Kind of proves that New York is the center of the universe. Competitive selection, excellent service. The trial program has launched me to a whole new level of flute playing and enjoyment. I recently sold my solid silver Bonnewille Flute to the people at the Flute Center of New York - after I owned it for the past 65 years! I no longer play it, so it needed a new home.

コンパクトだけどフルートたくさん

ちょっと前ですが２０１７年に訪問。
場所が大変分かりづらく入口を見つけるのに一苦労
お店もマンション？のドアを開けるような感じなのではいるのに少々勇気がいるかも。

中に入ると工房で作業する方が目の前に。
部屋の手前側にケースに入ったフルートがずらり。

もちろん買わなかったものの、、いくつか吹かせていただきました。試奏室も２つくらいあったかも？でも使用中だったので工房スペースで吹かせてもらいました。

語学が堪能だったらもっとあれこれ試したのですが何せ1人だったもので
後ろ髪引かれながらもそこまで堪能できず帰りました。
次回はもっと話せるようになって再訪したいです。

Noplace better to get a flute!

I have never been here in person, but I have seen their mobile store at the National Flute Association. I do business with them all the time. I am a professional flutist and teacher in Mobile, AL. These guys have an amazing Teacher's Club where they will send you a variety of instruments to try with free shipping both ways! This is so important because there is no place close to me that carries good flutes. They carry a wide variety of instruments in all price ranges, both new and used, and are a pleasure to work with. Next time in NYC I will totally go and visit!

A unique place where flute enthusiasts can have their instruments repaired, but a new instrument, rent one. Or take lessons. This is one of the very few places in the country and the people are very helpful. Located in the lincoln center area and convenient to musicians

For Flute Geeks Only!!

The Flute Center of NY is the best place in the world to buy flutes (truly, no hyperbole there). I bought a flute via my teacher who has worked with them for years. Since I was in Manhattan, I thought I'd stop by and see what they had that I could try out. I brought two friends who were completely stunned by the experience; a brilliant collection of the world's most amazing flutes and piccolos for sale.

These aren't cheap or student-level, but intermediate and professional-quality used and new flutes.

Definitely check out their web site, and if you're in town and are a flute geek, make an appointment to try out their flutes. I'm sure you'll walk away with something very special.
