Super fun

Check-in is super easy and quick. This event is really only fun if you have a panel or 2 to attend or have a really hardcore and diverse interest in multiple media franchises. Otherwise you’ll end up like me last year and end up just walking around doing nothing and leave unfulfilled and feel like you wasted your money. This year I went on Thursday and there was plenty to do. Could be because covid restrictions are mostly gone but… yeah it’s great. People are super nice, too

Somewhat enjoyable and somewhat disappointed

I rate this year an 8 out of 10. I had a great time and I really enjoyed being upstairs at the merchandise area. Also, I enjoy everything I saw in the panel floor. However the only thing I am really disappointed about is the parking situation for comic con. I brought a badge for my boyfriend so I can have him with me. Unfortunately he was not able to find parking anywhere near the convention which made me feel upset that he was unable to join due to the parking issue. Other than that, I would give this convention another chance because I still enjoy going to the convention. Just very very disappointed about the parking situation my boyfriend had to deal with. I would like to see if they offer a two day pass at an affordable price where I can go both Friday and Saturday so that way I can spend time with both my friends and my boyfriend. If not I’ll just go Saturday so I can spend time with my boyfriend.

Crowded, but Always Fun!

If you're in the tri-state area & a fan of good vibes. NYCC is a nice way to meet up with friends and talk shop. Artist Alley is filled with talented creatives. The main showroom floor is for hardcore merchandise & Toy collectors.

Amazing and fun as always

Except for the crowd being larger then usual I was able to have an amazing time ! You can find something for everyone at this place , also the costumes are by far the most amazing you will see ... place welcomes all ages and all sorts of Interest. Only thing I can say never come with out money make sure you have enough because there are so many amazing things to purchase and so much great food to eat 😋

If you can't get to San Diego ComicCon or weren't able to get a ticket in the lottery, this is the next best thing. Huge by most local conventions standards, there is something for everyone though over the years (I have been going or several years and now actually fly up from our new resident state) the peripherals of comics have taken over (media, toys, gaming, Cosplay, etc). Still, I enjoy attending and since the local alleged big conventions around the states claim to be big, this one has spoiled me. This year was better organized than last year and perhaps those running the show took the advice of the attendees.

"It's the Biggest Costume party in the World!"

People from all over the planet come: singles, couples, friends, families. Some do the full-monty, some dress in themes, others a t-shirt. Everyone has a good time, especially if you're a Marvel /comic seeker or a gamer!
You should experience this once in your life...
It is VERY crowded and bathroom lines reflect it. (Opens Thursday, all day Friday and Saturday, closes Sunday earlier). There's all sorts of food available. Photo Ops are mandatory and readily available from the crowds. (You pay for the actual actors.) Break out panels, autographs, MERCHANDISE and a party atmosphere. People are well-behaved for that size group!

Way too many people

Got there by 10:30. Place was already packed, but have to give the staff a great hand. They did a great job, Scan, security was a breeze. Got in and already can’t get to see anything. There were lines for anything that’s worth while. The worst was the Funko pop line. You are not even allowed to get on line unless you are pre-pick with a lottery in September. That is really a lot of bull. I paid $55 to get in and is not allowed on line. Somebody has to do something about this nonsense. The rest of NYCC was kind of fun but just extremely too crowded. They should either cut down the amount of tickets sold or have a day/night sessions. As stated, an enjoyable experience but can be much better.
