Leggendo le recensioni mi sembra di aver capito che nessuno sa cos’è in realtà il Liberty Park. Si tratta di una piazza sopraelevata (perché ci sono alberi e panchine) che si trova sul lato sud del Memoriale dell’11 settembre (di fronte alla stazione dei pompieri). Salendo la scalinata si gode di una bella vista del memoriale e degli edifici attorno. Vi è posizionata al centro la sfera che si trovava originariamente al centro della piazza (ovviamente mezza disintegrata e ricostruita in qualche modo). Vale la pena di salirci.

Lugar impresionante que da mucho respeto y que nadie olvidara.
Todos nos acordamos y recordaremos siempre que hacíamos ese día a esa hora.
El memorial es espectacular con un gran parque y dos fuentes con los nombres de los que fallecieron y dieron su vida por los demás

Sono rimasto li per parecchio tempo, assorto nella lettura dei nomi con il rumore dell'acqua delle fontane in sottofondo, notando fra i tristi ricordi che in alcuni dei nomi incisi vi erano incastrati dei fiori.
Qualcuno mi ha spiegato che i fiori vengono lasciati nel giorno del compleanno della persona.
Molto bello aver colto l'opportunità di creare un luogo immortale e così intenso.

Creo que todos recordamos lo que estábamos haciendo cuando ocurrió aquella tragedia. No entraba en mis planes visitar estas dos piscinas, por todo lo que me remueve. El lugar impresiona y me parece que se ha hecho un monumento digno y respetuoso para todas aquellas personas que perdieron la vida.

It's been under construction for a long time, many years. But now it is coming together as a lovely park in the middle of one of the most dense parts of the city. so some welcome art, green space, and the commemorative spaces. Some good spots to get a perspective on it all. On a sunny day, it is remarkable.

Park is well done. Not too crowded. Nice place to hang out, look around, and reflect on what happened. Impressive the rebuilding that has occurred in the area. Disappointing the museum has been closed.

They have more than 1 Trade Centre. The park has the two pools to represent the twin towers. However the first row of trees closest to the pools represent where the buildings actually stood.
All the names of those that were lost have their names on the wall around the pools. If you see a flower by the name, the colour represents whether it is a birthday or anniversary for the person.

Ospita il monumento al 9 settembre. Lascia un vuoto e una tristezza visitare questo luogo, ti fa venire i brividi. Da visitare assolutamente.
