提前一周订了两张票。提前一天接到电话，被告知票子是误订的，由于“电脑出错”，只好改期到另一天。演出当天，当我到达售票处取票时，被告知没有票，又因“电脑出错”。所以我白白等了两天。在窗口买票要花更高的价钱，我想我很幸运，因为还有票，因为第二天就得走了。如果你真的想确保你能按计划的日期/时间看节目，不要向这些人订票，他们是不可信的。

哇！这真是一个很棒的音乐剧，适宜家庭观看。我的孩子，一个11岁，一个7岁，尽情享受着每一分钟的愉快时光，他们对服装、音乐和表演都感到十分兴奋。我们的座位在最后一排的管弦乐队区，但视野也挺好的。

很棒的节目！！我们在出发前打印好付款凭单，在演出当天很容易就在票房处取到真正的票了。我不建议带7岁以下的孩子去看，因为时间太长了，他们会变得焦躁不安。

I will go to see Dear Evan Hansen this August. Can I let my friend buy tickets at the box office and let the theater hold it before I pick them up personally? I would be much grateful if you can help me.

I believe someone can buy show tickets at the box office in your name for pick up at a later date, or, you can order them online through Ticketmaster or other services with pick up at the box office. The online services have service fees while box office sales will not. A source for discount tickets is a web site called NYTIX. They provide detailed guides for how to buy discount tickets including rush and lottery offerings. We have used them and found them to be reliable. We have picked up tickets that we bought through NYTIX at the box office on the day of the show. Best wishes.

If you really want to see a show, yes. There's no telling if you can find tickets for your particular night, on show day. If you want to guarantee a seat on that night, get the rockets as early as possible.

Hi! My friends and I are visiting NYC and want to see a Broadway show. We looked and agreed on "Mrs. Doubtfire" which is a new and upcoming musical. However, we're only in the city during its preview timeframe. We're there March 18-22, so about 10-14 days into their preview schedule.
What difference is the Broadway preview to the actual post-opening show?
Like, is it closer to as if we're in their rehearsal studio, with interrupted director cuts, and on-off music pause to correct lines/dances, etc? Or is it closer to an actual show, where, sure there are some minor [sometimes un-noticeable] mistakes not to be directed until after the show, etc.? I hope I'm making sense...

It's the show. Only before it considers itself ready to be reviewed. Tickets are usually less expensive. Sometimes an understudy will replace a lead. But don't worry. I'm sure you'll enjoy.

Hands down, TodayTix is great - the web page or app for Broadway, Off-Broadway, London’s West End, Sydney, Chicago, and on and on. In New York and London, I always use the app. Either way, you see up-to-date pricing and seat availability, reduced prices and lottery seats, closing dates, and upcoming shows. A head-spinning sweep of shows you’ve heard about and great shows you haven’t heard about — yet!
