Great theater and incredible show. Back to the Future was a perfect mix of the original movie adapted for the stage. Even the understudies were top quality. Thanks for opening the doors a little early to get us in out of the pouring rain.
If you loved this movie, you must see the show. The live orchestra was amazing as were the special effects.

Saw Back to the Future, the Musical. Fantastic production, the crew and cast were simply magnificent. The music was superb.

In the Winter Garden, located on Broadway, the iconic “Back to the Future” show takes place! A film that marked a whole generation is perfectly played on the stage of this theater! The show lasts on average 2h30 and is divided into two acts with an interval of about 15 minutes between each act! There is a show souvenir shop inside the theater too! Tickets can be purchased from the official Broadway website itself, with seat choice and credit card payment! The performance of the actors and actresses impress! Lots of music and dance that excites the audience of good memories! A show that really is worth it!

We saw the musical Back to the future and it was one of the flagship experiences in New York. An intense show, with performances worthy of Brodeway I imagine, quite exceptional lights and sound and special effects

The performance “Back to the Future” was absolutely amazing, but the Winter Garden staff and security were the rudest I’ve ever experienced on Broadway. It felt more like a rock concert, which may be actually saying too much. Thugs is probably the best and most accurate descriptor of the staff, who were more bouncers than professional staff. Between the toothless security guard, who was straight out of central casting, and the “suits” and their profanity laced F-bombs as they admitted people into the theater, my family and I were thoroughly embarrassed. Seriously, these derelicts could have ruined the entire show and experience if we allowed it.
If possible, save yourself and your family the stress and drama by avoiding the Winter Garden Theater and choosing one of the finer, classier establishments on Broadway.

I saw a matinee at the Winter Garden Theatre. The theatre itself is very good but the ladies rooms need to be renovated. Also the ladies rooms are on the same level as the entrance and consequently the line during intermission extends to inside the theatre!

Beautiful theatre and brilliant show. The staff on the door were very pleasant and the first bar person that served us was courteous. Unfortunately when we went to the bar at the interval the second bar person that served us appeared to be very stressed. When i went to pay for my drink he kept insisting that it had to be a card payment. I appreciate that they may prefer card payments but as tourists we only had cash. After finally accepting that I could only pay by cash he then proceeded to launch the packet of peanuts that I had ordered in my direction.
I have given the theatre four stars due to the rest of the experience however the rudeness of this one staff member has stopped me from giving five stars.

What a lovely theater! We were seated in the orchestra - the seats were comfortable and had ample legroom.
The show was amazing - sets were fantastic, and the performance was fantastic! Both kids (15 & 8) thoroughly enjoyed it as did my husband and I. Great experience getting to meet some of the cast at the stage door afterwards, too

Enjoyed “Back to the future-the musical” at a Sunday matinee. Show was fantastic- great cast, fun, funny, played the characters well, so talented, also great music and effects, all around great time. Theater had character, we were toward back right in mezzanine and still felt a good view, staff was helpful, things ran smoothly. Doors opened 30 minutes prior to matinee, there was a 15 minute intermission. Did not get any concessions but they do offer

It's been years since visiting this marvelous and unique theater. So, I can't really answer your question. When we were there, we never used the water fountain.
If you are refering to a drinking water fountain, be on the safe side and bring a cup.

Not sure. We booked via a website - attraction tickets direct- who gave us a confirmation and we picked up the tix from the box office at the theatre.

You will have no problem using your phone tickets there. The only place where you need to stand in line and get tickets from the phone is Statue of Liberty.

Ellens is a good shout for its entertainment value alone. Very nice before a show as well . Queues could be a problem allow time... Hard rock cafe ok as well. Plenty of places actually. Heartland brewery very good as well.
