Stopped in here for a couple drinks. The name drew us in. The atmosphere and decor was perfect Viking. Huge beer selection. Service was friendly and fast. Enjoyed this place!

I think this is the title of my last review of Valhalla. But no reason to change my view.
This is a truly fabulous bar. One of my world favourites. Great beer selection., with lots from upstate NY and nearby. Very congenial atmosphere. What’s not to like. If you had a bar like this in your street you would be in seventh heaven. World class IMHO

Me and my boyfriend stopped off here for a couple of beers before grabbing dinner. I was overwhelmed with the choice! There was defintley something for all tastes. The atmosphere was also friendly and welcoming. Would deffo visit again.

A freezing day in NYC had us craving a dark beer. We headed into Valhalla around 2pm; it was really quiet and thus easy to find seats at the bar. We were greeted by a nice bartender and given a large list of beers on tap, ranging from hoppy IPAs to chocolate stouts. There was also a nice selection of beers by the bottle, including many English and Belgian beers. The bartender knew his stuff and happily poured us small samples of three beers. We ended up with two pints of delicious Iceland Porter with real round flavor and some nice bitterness. A pretzel topped it off. Nothing fancy, but a nice place for an afternoon pit stop and a good selection of beers. Reasonably priced, too--two beers and a pretzel came in at $16 even.

Went here n here for a drink with friends while visiting NY. Nice place, good atmosphere however found prices to be quite high. Four of us had a sprit with coke, came to $49, over £12 per drink.

Stopped by for a beer whilst exploring the city. Fantastic selection, freiendly staff and a great bar. Would recommend.

One of the best places I had the pleasure of visiting while in NY a good selection of beers and they had Mead on tap and what a fine drink it is staff were friendly great atmosphere and a jolly good place to go for a drink

A great little bar with tons of different draft beers from all around the world in Hell's Kitchen. The music is good and the staff is nice. They have really nice specials, e.g. for lunch with any meal and a draft beer for $14 or the angry hour for the early morning hour! For sure worth a visit if you are into beer!

This is a quintessential NY bar in Hells Kitchen. Loads of craft beers and good draft too. The Bronx Summer Ale was sensational. Snacks looked good too
