Terrible First Time Order

They cancelled my order after sending me a verification email that got lost within their spammy emails. Terrible first experience. Why couldn’t they have verification set up on their Website or App? Why don’t they inform you you when you make an account or make an order that you will receive an email where you have to verify your card and ID? I called this store and they couldn’t help me with this issue. Overall terrible first impression compared to Rightstuf Anime.

Proper old school comic book store

My son is a big Marvel fan and I wanted a gift for him. I confess that I was well out of my depth but the staff were super helpful and gave excellent advice and pointed me in the right direction for some comics from their “bargin bucket” found a Batman and Scooby Doo comic (who knew) plus a superman one. No Spider-Man which was disappointing but I guess it’s supply and demand at what they have at the time. We don’t really have many of these types of stores in the uk so it was interesting to see.

Worth a Visit

OMG what a great shop top to bottom over two floors of Marvel & DC comics I could have spent hours in this store really worth a visit and helpful staff

A must for any comic lover

Two full floors of comics and merchandise. What's not to love! My son and I visited in August, he is a huge spiderman fan and had a field day buying practically all their stock. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great little find!

Fun place to visit

We popped in on our way by to another stop because my son & husband are comics-obsessed. The store seemed to have a good selection with lots of figures to see. It was a fun little detour in our afternoon!

Decent Store

I had heard of this store before so we went to check it out. The store is two floors, with figures mainly on the top floor with back issues. They do have a bit of everything, but my store back home is way bigger. We were looking for specific titles and they did not have any of them.

Cool shop, worth a visit

This is a great shop I've been to before. They carry the same kind of current and back issues you expect from a local shop, with a broader range of maquettes and statues upstairs. Bought some heavy things and they shipped them for a good price. I do wish they had more golden age books on the wall, since I had gone there with a mind to getting something rare. But if you really like variant covers of current books, you'll be happy. Also they don't carry much in terms of prop replicas or high end figures, that sort of stuff.

This fantastic comic book store is a haven for all lovers of comics. They have an extension collection of comic books and action figures, and the staff are super knowledgeable - if you need something, they'll either know exactly where it is or when it'll be back in stock. This store is really big, with two floors stuffed with everything comic-related. It's centrally located in the Times Square area.

Expect more but in an unbeatable location, so...

Not a terrible comic shop but for the name recognition and the hype you think they'd have more back issues, stuff from the 70s'-80s' on their upper level and they don't and it's flabbergasting sort of. All the staff I interacted with were friendly even if two of them had no idea what I was referring to or asking about magazines or where things were but that's not the end of the world.

If you're a comic book store in Times Square that's already pretty cool because I feel there's a sense of history as the American Comics Industry really began in NYC. But there's no historical sense here except for a handful of late 60s' comics on the wall that are severely overpriced for the specific issues they are... I don't know, it was pleasant but not the "magic" place you wanna get lost in that you'd expect from such a hyped up shop.
