Everybody has to experience this!
After being able to finally book this tour since it’s always full.
We are a group of people all with different nationalities and we are all friends.For sure wanted to try something new since we came from Europe to visit NYC and something we’ve been recommended to from previous people!
A tour we will never forget ,a lot of food,history,traditions,surprises,fun,friendly heartwarming environment and Aggelis...what a personality,thank you so much for making us feel like home and feeding us so much 🥰 🙏🏽

My friend and I are greeks living in London and New York. For her visit, we decided to go on the Athens Next Door Greek Foor Tour in Astoria. It took us a bit to find an available date as most were fully booked. We found that the best way to book is directly from the In Food We Trust website. But once booked we immediately received a friendly and warm welcome confirming the reservation and sharing other important information.
The tour took us to the "inside" places of Astoria. I loved the variety of the different types of food and the atmosphere of the places we experienced that felt Athens was indeed next door. The pace of the tour was great, having time to enjoy our meals and walk around Astoria. Growing up in Greece, I was impressed by the food i tasted in this tour, it's authentic and loved the "old school" recipes. As for the quality and quantity of the food were phenomenal! It really worths every penny!
Angelis, our guide, was very warm, lively and very knowledgable about the food, the culture, the history of Astoria and Greece. Half hour in the tour we already felt like old friends with him and the other guests. The tour is semi-private with max 6 guests, we were only 4 people in our group and was very cozy.
Overall, not your average food tour. I can't wait to go again!!!

Angelis was an incredible host and tour guide. Angelis shared personal and detailed stories of the neighborhood and the Greek culture in Queens. He made our journey to Astoria well worth it! Plus the food was delicious and the restaurants were welcoming. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Astoria.

My wife and I booked the “The Belly That Never Sleeps” tour East Village edition and it far exceeded our expectations. First, Angelis was an excellent guide and host.... fun and knowledgeable about the food and the community. You know immediately that he loves what he does and it is more than just a job to him. The restaurants we visited were ones we would never have found on our own, and all were delicious. I especially appreciated that none of the food was pre- prepared for us... we were able order at each restaurant .I highly recommend In Food We Trust. One of the highlights of our trip.

Our food tour through the East Village was one of the highlights of our trip. Angelis is an amazing and attentive host. Unlike many food tours, nothing about our evening was scripted. We actually ordered at each restaurant, with Angelis’s guidance. The food was delicious and the conversation was fun. Angelis is so passionate about his job and his city and loves to share that with his guests.
We made a new friend and can’t wait to do another tour.

I have been to the Met many times over the years and this was one of my favorite trips ever. Angelis welcomes you warmly and is knowledgeable, witty, entertaining and informative. We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to sign up for another one of his tours.

I booked Angelis Greek Food Tour for my husband's birthday with 4 other friends. Angelis showed us around restaurants the best restaurants, food trucks and bakeries in Astoria. We all loved spending time with Angelis and sharing stories we him. I can't pinpoint my highlight because I really did enjoy every part of the night. Thank you Angelis!!

This was our third tour with Angelis. A must for every trip to NY. We have experienced food tours all around the world and Angelis is one of the very best.

For the second year in a row, we booked a food tour with Angelis while in NYC for our annual sister trip! This time we tried the No Passport Required International Food Tour. Arrive hungry because you will be eating wonderful food until full! What a fabulous afternoon learning about cultures and eating authentic Turkish, Indian, Japanese, Jewish and Cuban food (plus coffee at the end). Living in Colorado we just don't have all these options within a few walking blocks of each other! Angelis has a warm heart and a passion for food. He will be happy to share that with you and your friends.

Indeed, there is "No Passport Required," but you will be transported to foreign lands on a In Food We Trust tour! This was my second tour with Angelis and he is fun, knowledgeable, and charming. He not only fills your belly with delicious food, he makes you feel special, which is rare these days. Come hungry as this is no 'little tastes' tour, you will EAT. Angelis is the consummate gentleman and makes the experience more than just an ordinary tour. You will not be disappointed if you book with Angelis as his tours have been the highlight of my NYC trips!
