The forest at the Kingfisher base is lush and green still in the fall. Cypress wetland offers lovely backdrops for family photos. It is an easy and very peaceful walk.

This park is a hidden gem of Little Rock (maybe not to the locals but it was to me!). My only regret was not giving myself enough time to take in all that the park has to offer. There were a couple of park highlights that was a little challenging to find.
Even though directions take you to the old visitor center that is shut down, there is a brand new visitor center down the road that made up for the misdirection!

Wonderful hike to top of Pinnacle mountain but it can be challenging when you reach the rocks towards the top. The views are amazing and enjoying the hike but it rained on the way down and the rocks got a little slippery. Still was a great hike.

What a great hike up to the peak of Pinnacle Mountain. The beginning of the hike starts in the woods but as you get closer to summit it gets a little more challenging. The hike is over large rocks and is challenging especially when it is raining but worth it.

I took my nieces for the afternoon and we went to one of the programs, which was informative. After walking around a bit, we were done. It seems as though this area is for hikers.

Even if you can't hike up the mountain, the view from the observation deck is great!
Beautiful views, very friendly staff at the visitor center with several interactive exhibits.

It is a beautiful state park. So amazing that there is no charge to enjoy this area. We climbed the west trail and it was of moderate difficulty. The view was awesome from the top. We enjoyed the climb.

I was able to make it to the top and back down in right at an hour. Everyone that I talked to was having a great time. I was a bit surprised with the amount of people with children and dogs that had made it to the top. I will definitely be back.

Nice park (free parking). Great views from the top. Tough hike. We did the West Summit Trail, which is supposed to be easier than the East Summit Trail. If you decide to do this hike, keep in mind that much of the trail (at least half) is more of a route across rocks rather than a normal trail. It's also quite steep...especially the top half of the trail. Definitely doable but not for everyone. Tough on the ankles and knees. Bring a snack as once you arrive at the top, you'll want to relax for a while and enjoy the endless views.

We hiked here at the recommendation of Andrew at Capital Hotel. It was great! Will go back and try other trails next time.

There was not a cost. The East-West Summit Trail was cool, great views. Go East-West if doing the whole loop. If choosing one way, the West Trail is easier. A lot of big rock scrambling on the East Trail but there are markers.

I would definitely exercise caution when taking a child there. It is not dangerous but rather tricky and certain areas could be slippery. If the child isn’t very independent or still depends on you for guidance to walk, I’d say he/she is too young. Hope this helps!

I agree with the others. On the trail part of the West Summit trail, you'd be fine, but after marker 9 or so, you have to cross large boulders which are really slick when wet. You'd be better off hiking one of the other wonderful trails. The Rocky Valley/East Quarry trail will get you to a beautiful vista without having to traverse such slick boulders - definitely a safer choice. If you don't need a vista as your goal, then hike the base trail around the mountain.

It usually takes us about an hour and a half to do the base trail. It is a great hike! Can't tell you about the East and West.

We watched a man using a drone on the Arboretum Trail next to Pinnacle Mtn. He was actually making a commercial ad for a health group. To be on the safe side I would do as the other person suggested simply call or go by the Visitors Center plus they may even be able to help you get better shots with your drone.

We did not ride so I am not sure. Most places either have a single route that cost $20-$25. Some stables have multiple route and length of Trail determines cost. Sure you can call and get info. Sorry I couldn't provide more information.
