Dear Mr. Once and a While, I preface my rant by saying I have no dog in the fight, I am just an out of towner who has an issue with your review. You sound like a very entitled, arrogant, and rude man who expects bartenders, servers, and any others employed in the sevice industry to bow at your feet. I feel your review could potentially deter others from going to Riff Raff Tavern which could be harmful to their establishment and livelihood, shame on you. You didn't give a review of the actual food or the drink you had. With all due respect, this is a website to critique those qualities of a restaurant primarily for food and drink quality. Both of which you did not provide. Customer service is important but I tend to lean toward the version of the story Chris explained regarding your behavior. I feel sure the bartender did not "ignore" you for 15 minutes. Come on, I realize it could have seemed that way if you were super thirsty for a beer or maybe a single malt scotch neat. The young man or lady were probably helping other patrons they know tip well. Fun fact of a former bartender, TIP well and your bartender will make you a priority. If you are in fact the high maintenance bar guest that leaves peanuts as tips, learn the process. You also reiterated the phrase "lack of basic customer service," are you a customer service training expert by trade? Your review on trip advisor came off as narcissistic and childish. I am so glad Mike called you out for your rude, disrespectful behavior. Well done Mike!! Can't wait to head over to Riff Raff Tavern this week while I'm in town.
