Das Essen war sehr gut mit bio Zutaten, die frisch und hochwertig waren
Kleine aber feine Auswahl. Das Essen wirde schnell grliefert.
Bedienungsanleitung funktionierte nicht für Europatelefone. Die Bedienung war etwas kühl und unaufmerksam.

Their whiskeys are very very good you must try all the different cocktails and the cheese curds and garlic are to die for and the salad with walnuts and apples is delicious

Best social experience in Mammoth Lakes! From the home made spirits, beer and hand-crafted cocktail mixers, to the excellent food! The atmosphere, social experience, food, and custom made cocktails make this place a "must visit" on your things to do in Mammoth.
They have the service down to a science. Use the QR code at your table / bar-top, then order away. Within just a few minutes, a friendly server is there to bring you your food, cocktail, or beer. The people at this place are super chill and friendly and the vibe is great (nice sound system / music selection, large flatscreens with sports, olympics, and skiing/snowboarding videos).

Delicious craft cocktails and snacks. Great happy hour prices. Loved the atmosphere and big paper menu on the wall. The staff was really nice and it was super clean. Can't wait to go back again on our next trip to Mammoth.

So I have to say out of the village, the Shelter Distiling had the best food. However, $6 for an off brand "hand made" tiny 6 oz. cola with no refills didn't exactly make me happy. I know its a distilling place, and most people probably order a real drink, but I didn't feel like alcohol. Next, they automatically charge 20% tip when you order on your phone (even for one person) and so they don't have to give you good service. I was handed my cola and told they were out of straws so my cola had all the syrup at the bottom with no way to stir it. Next I was handed my meal with no utensils - yes it was sushi and tempura, but I don't use chopsticks. I never saw a server again. The two servers who handed me my drink and food never smiled or were pleasant in any way. The only pleasant person was one guy in the entire place who brought me silverware. He smiled and was nice. If it wasn't for him I would have given this place one star. After I ate I got up and left without a single word from anyone. Very rude and unprofessional - would never return.

Fun environment. The spirit tasting is also a cool way to try what is on offer. I liked ordering from my table. The food was okay. Had shrimp tacos, pork tacos and the fried peppers. Nice Sunday arvo.

Not only were the bourbon, rye and rum really good, but we got to meet the entire family and got a personal tour of the distillery and cask room. This should be a must do if you’re in Mammoth!

Ran into this place while waiting for our hotel room to be ready. Alec greated us with a warm smile and great conversation. Beers were great, but the mixed drinks were even better. We will be back! Thank you, Alec!!

As micro distillers are popping up everywhere, I found this local Mammoth Lakes Distillery to be very enjoyable.
The experience here is great from the moment you step foot inside this simple modern industrial designed space. The lounge area is fun, yet comfortable and on warm days the space is opened up to the fresh mountain air.
They offer a variety of their distilled spirits; vodka, gin, whiskey, rum, and even a unique coffee liqueur! In addition to their spirits, they have a nice unique cocktail menu. Their cocktails were
delicious, fresh, and crafted well. As a supplement, the Shelter also has a a couple of nice IPA’s and a hard cider to enjoy.
With their great environment to enjoy a tasty cocktail or two, they also provide a good bar food menu. The pizzas were a favorite, but every item I explored was good and complimented their cocktails very well.
If you are looking for something different than a typical bar or brewery, visit the Shelter!

I did not go to eat nor drink so I am not able to tell you about the food or drink. I went specifically to purchase some of their distilled beverages. The young lady that served me was knoledgable about their products and was able to recommend what I should buy. She was also helpful finding a suitable container for the product to protect it for the long trip home (20 days).
