Devil’s Tower is a sight worth seeing. At the very least, do the walk around the entire tower. And if you’re a photographer, be sure to take both sunset and sunrise photos. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing this iconic national monument.

This is a nice area to take in the great view of the Devil's Tower w/ the Wind Circle ( Sacred Smoke) to enhance the beauty of nature's gift. This Art was created by a Japanese sculptor. It is worth seeing this beautiful art concept.

Found because I was on the lookout from reading TripAdvisor. Very cool to see and nobody was there at all. Nice view of the tower from this parking lot too. Directly adjacent from picnic area - you can spot it from the main road coming in if you are looking. Worth checking out!

The only way I knew about this art piece was from Trip Advisor. It is easily missed because there are no signs and you cannot see it from the road.
When you enter the park, make a left to head toward the camping area. Go past the trailer parking and the walkway is immediately on the left.
It makes a cool picture seeing Devil’s Tower through the circle.
We were the only ones there at 3:00pm that day.

I would have totally missed this without Tripadvisor and it was such a great part of our visit to DTNM. You will NOT see this from the entrance road, as Devil's Tower has many secret gems like this. You have to turn off to go to the camp ground.
However, once you find it, it is magical. This sculpture is meant to demonstrate the scared location of the tower to native peoples. The sculpture represents the smoke circles from native ceremonies. it is located in a beautiful position relative to the tower and perfect for pictures. You have to get the perspective picture of the tower in the circle. Still for us this place was surrounded by wildlife. We saw several deer; however, our favorite was a small rabbit that was inside the base of the sculpture when we were there. The rabbit is in all of our pictures. Again this is great spiritual place to visit and soak in the tower.

Take your time and see the prairie dogs too. 1.4 mile easy hike through the prairie dogs with great views of the Tower.

After a delightful drive through Spearfish Canyon, we made a mad dash to Devils Tower to meet ET :). The park was officially closed but the gates were open and we were able to walk on the trail where we and found these evocative sculptures. Very cool and relaxing.

It is a beautiful sculpture and allows for some special photographs. I always recommend people go see it when they visit the park.

This is a unique work of art. You can capture some really cool pictures of the Devil's Tower through the inside of the wind circle. If you are visiting the Tower the sculpture is at the base near the Prairie Dog Town. If you park in the picnic area lot (less crowded) you can view the sculpture and read its history on your way to the various trails.

My husband and I saw the Wind Circles near the picnic area at Devil’s Tower National Monument. The art work is ok but seemed out of place in the park.

Near the prairie dog fields and camp grounds, make sure you get a park map, it is listed on the map- the Rangers can point it out on the map.
