If you want to find the perfect place to take a picture of Devil's Tower, especially in the afternoon, this is it. This is a hidden gem, most people won't find. On your drive up to the tower, you will see a dirt road go off to your left near the parking lot. This is W Road and if you take it about a quarter of a mile there will be an empty gravel parking lot. Pulling and look behind you to see the most amazing view of the tower. There are many great places to get a picture of the tower but this is the best.
