I was very impressed by the Asian Festival. The staff was supportive and helpful. The food groups were good. The level of security was perfect.

We love visiting places like this. During Christmas time it is a neat Christmas Village. Plenty of pop up tents with small shops. They also have an ice skating rink. Plenty of fun to be had. They also have a large Christmas tree on the City Half ground along with a nice light show.

Dilworth Park fica bem em frente à Prefeitura da Filadélfia. É bem pequeno mas é interessante visitá-la no verão. É que no calor as crianças da cidade costumam brincar nas fontes e dão um show à parte.

We were in Philadelphia for Thanksgiving week, and I was excited to visit the various squares that would be decorated for Christmas and offer activities such as light shows, ice-skating, and markets. Dilworth Square did not officially open until the Monday before Thanksgiving, November 25, 2019. We visited that very first night, arriving around 7 PM. We enjoyed the five or 10 minute light show on City Hall, but then to our surprise, everything shut down. The ice-skating rink, shops, and the food all closed. I then noticed a sign listing the hours as 11:30 AM until 7 PM from Sunday through Thursday. On the weekends, everything is open an additional hour, until 8 PM. I find that very strange that everything would close down so early. In any event, the light show was fun to see, even if it is not the best you’ll see in your life. And the ice-skating looked fun!

The city has done a wonderful job in Dilworth Park. In the summer the water fountains are a fun attraction for kids to play in and in the winter the ice skating rink and shops are fun to visit. Or just sit on one of the benches and relax. There is something going on regularly here, as well as in the adjacent Love Park.

My sister and I spent three days sightseeing in Philadelphia and passed this park a few times on our bus. We were struck by the beauty of the building and lively activity in the park.
Ultimately we got off the bus and walked around. The fountains were a huge attraction for kids. They have food trucks in part of the space and while we didn’t try any the smells were tantalizing.

It's not big but it is beautifully maintained and has a lot of exhibits and events going on. Kids would love the water fountain area.

This is a neat park and they often show movies on the plaza. Several police officers around to help keep things as they should be. There is a large homeless population downtown so be advised of that. For the most part they are not aggressive
