Diversión para los pequeños

Es un sitio de diversión para los niños. Son tres pisos en los que se distribuyen las diferentes actividades. Una de las actividades es con agua, así que recomiendo llevar ropa de cambio para que la puedan disfrutar.

En el sitio hay disponibilidad de un comedor en el que puedes consumir los alimentos que lleves. Recomiendo hacer esto pues en el sitio solo hay venta de snacks.

También hay casilleros gratis disponibles para guardar los morrales o cualquier otra cosa que no quieras cargar durante la visita.

Recomiendo llegar temprano para disfrutar de todas las actividades

Especialmente diseñado para niños!

Estuvimos con mi hijo de 8 años y se lo disfrutó de inicio a fin. El lugar es muy limpio y bien pensado para niños desde bebés hasta los 12 años. Son 3 pisos y cada uno tiene algo diferente. Fuimos en domingo y no estaba muy lleno. No tiene servicio de cafetería, sino máquinas dispensadoras pero puedes entrar y salir del sitio las veces que quieras y muy cerca hay varios restaurantes donde puedes comprar comida. En la zona de comidas hay microondas y elementos básicos como cubiertos, platos y vasos desechables y servilletas, por si quieres llevar tu propia comida. Puedes recargar agua en el lugar si llevas termo. Tienen servicio de locker gratuito, por lo que puedes llevar un maletín con todo lo que necesites y dejarlo ahí guardado para mayor comodidad. Los baños son muy limpios y pensados para adultos y niños. Hay espacios para que los papás puedan sentarse en las diferentes zonas y así estar atentos de los niños. Hay un espacio para jugar con agua, tienen ponchos y crocs pero no está de más llevar ropa extra. Justo al frente del restaurante, con la factura de entrada, los niños comen gratis solo con pedir entradas para adultos.

Mostly fun, but watch out.

I had an awful experience with one of the workers, Ria. My son and I were climbing together, but about halfway I took a break at the halfway point and let him go on since he didn’t need my help as I was expecting. He came back down in tears, he said the worker was really mean. I told him to wait and went up to get her name because people like this shouldn’t be working around kids. I asked for a manager but ended up not waiting around because he was so upset he just wanted to leave. We were having a lot of fun until then, and the rest of the staff we interacted with were so friendly but I guess there always has to be one to ruin it.

Waste of Money

This was completely underwhelming. We had 4 people in our party, one being an almost 3 year old and the other three of us age 30 & 40+. That being said, this was a ripoff. If there was enough activities to make adults and children content, that's one thing. But 3 adults paying $20+ a person to just stand there is ridiculous. The only positive thing today wasn't even working. We could have used the bubble machine multiple times, but there was a lack of water and soap, so there were zero bubbles to be able to lift the hoop. The youngest was 1/4 inch too short for the slide, which is fine because it is a big slide, but none of us adults were climbing it either. The kitchen/diner was just mayhem. Kids licking all the food and unaccompanied. The art room was okay, but the project was just blah with dried out markers and scraps of felt to choose from. I think realistically, you can have kids pay full price but adults should not me more than $5 really in assuming you're paying for the bathroom and to chaperone.

The entire place is in dire need of help and I don't know who is saying this place is amazing. The reviews are skewed as this place is not even for older kids. They would be bored as can be. There simply was not much to choose from nor was it entertaining. $70 was a waste.

Not to mention you still have to deal with parents who do not parent and have snotty kids who don't share the few things that would have been good. There was one ball in the kicking section and an older kid was kicking it at the younger kids hard. No staff working in that section either.

I can't recommend this place at all.

Great place to spend several hours with the kids

This was definitely a step up from the National Children’s Museum in DC. Not nearly as grand as the Indianapolis Children’s Museum, but I think nothing can beat that ever.
This was a fun experience. 3 floors of activities. Free lockers and coat room in the snack area. Everything is clean looking. What I loved the most is that sanitizers were abundant. I am confident this place is a concentration of germs so that helps. There was a child licking every block in the quiet area and then throwing them around. Two caretakers and no effort to stop her from doing that so sanitize hands after every room if you don’t want to pick something up here. Staff just can’t keep up with the massive amount of children and rotations.
Con: no cafe, no real food. Junk is plentiful and I almost wish it wasn’t in the lunch area at all because it’s hard to keep kids away from it. But prices were reasonable in the vending machines.
Also, there is a bonus that kids eat free at the glass gazebo right next to Port Discovery if you present your Port Discovery ticket. We didn’t use it as we had plenty of food with us, but I am sure that will be an added bonus and the grounds look beautiful.

Great experience except for the unvalidated parking.

My grands loved it all. The boys especially enjoyed the giant multi-story rope climber to the slide. The Egyptian room and farm area were also favorites. Staff was pleasant and the areas were clean.

Our only disappointment was that we learned AFTER entering that parking would NOT be validated due to visiting on a Federal holiday. $28 each for our family's 2 cars was an unwelcome surprise.

Fun visit!

We visited Port Discovery with our 2 year old son and one year old son. They really enjoyed the museum. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. Bring your own lunch because they only have vending machine food, bring spare clothes and a set of water shoes for the water area. We will definitely be back!

Great time!!!

Went here with the kids took the 2-5:00pm time frame. The entrance per adult military $19.95 and children $19.95. The park has plenty of activities for kids to be do from Skyclimbing, going down the slides, making a collage, painting, playing with water or making a bubble. There also quiet are where you can read to your kids, there also area to kids to pretend they are grocery shopping or fill out a gas tank on car.

There definitely plenty of area for kids to entertained for a few hours, make to bring socks for skyline area. Tons of fun for kids to have. I highly recommended for anyone with active kiddos. This place 3 floor of fun.

Non stop entertainment

Our kids, 9 and two 6 year olds, went from 10 to 1pm. Very safe, entertaining. They went non stop the entire time we where there.
