This closed by 3 pm every day. I did not get out of my meeting until 4pm at the earliest. Disappointing it wasn't open later hours during the summer

better than others

we spend some time inside as it was cold outside and it had some historical information but no-one attempted to talk to us (we were there alone) and the flyers were organized by topic but I could not find even flyers about all the different museums (it would be good to have a map on the display above the flyers and overview whichmuseums/ hisotrical attractions etc. are in Baltiomre and where they are positioned form the visiotrs center - including a brief summary of the contend - yes I am a museum studies major.
I never care much about flyers for restaurants/ hotels/ or not in town places

it has helpful information, so stop in

its in a pretty building at the inner harbor, right by the circulator purple line bus stop. the staff are nice and helpful and probably has the answer to all of your questions. we finally found information on how to get to the baltimore museum of art at the visitors center.

Right next to Inner harbour

The Baltimore Visitor Center is located just next to the harbour and is easily accessible.

Here they have great staff to ask for advice what to do in the city, large touchscreens sorted by subject and lots of brochures.

Definitely worth a visit as a tourist, we found out there was a free stand-up show the same night thanks to them.

Should be every visitor's first stop!

Located on the city's Inner Harbor the Baltimore Visitors Center should be every visitor's first stop when planning their time in Baltimore. We purchased Harbor passes there that provided good savings and multiple tickets to major local attractions that could be used during 4 consecutive days. There are useful maps and brochures of not only Baltimore but places throughout the state of Maryland. Special thanks to Mr. Hyph who works the counter there he not only sold us our Harbor passes but gave us great tips on how to make the best use of our time while visiting the city!

Trolley tour

This 90 minute tour is outstanding. Gives you a nice recap of the city. Best to do it at the start of the stay so you can individually visit sites at leisure.

The tour guide Paul Allen and coach driver Dwayne are great at their job.
