I had a great time during the Red Hook Tour! The tour guide Dom, from Brooklyn showed us around Red Hook and taught us its history. He was very knowledgeable and engaging during the tour. We even had an ice cream and wine tasting too!! Highly recommended!

Very informative and entertaining visit of BROOKLYN from the "Made Locally" angle. Dom Gervasi told us the great history of Brooklyn, with some amazing anecdotes. Great!

My group attended the DUMBO neighborhood tour and it was very entertaining and enlightening. As someone who was born and raised in Brooklyn, there was so much information that I was not even aware of. Dom was great at providing information in a way that was relatable to everyone on the tour and he did a great job of including everyone. Meeting shop owners was a highlight!

Dom curated a perfect walking tour of Red Hook for a private corporate event. We were 7 people and the tour was well planned start to finish. We stopped at some local businesses, and Dom is a wealth of knowledge of all things Brooklyn - there wasn't a question he couldn't answer including "Who is the park named after and why?". Our group was particularly interested in housing and real-estate history (we told him in advance) and he made sure to incorporate this theme into the tour as well. Highly recommend you take a walking tour with Dom - it seems like he can curate something special for any Brooklyn neighborhood!

Fantastic tour of DUMBO! We not only learned a lot about DUMBO, its history, and Brooklyn in general from Dom--a witty, informed, and great guide--we got to visit local establishments and meet the creative people who make DUMBO thrive. On top of meeting DUMBO artists of all types, we were treated to delicious hot chocolate, rode the carousel and finished the day eating delicious pizza.
This is a tour for all who wish to discover Brooklyn's diverse neighborhoods. Whether you're a tourist visiting New York City or a city resident, put on your walking shoes and join Dom for the best day ever!

My daughter and I toured Dumbo with Dom on Saturday,April 30. As a native, lifelong Brooklynite I thought I knew a lot about my borough - boy was I wrong!
Armed with flip charts -Dom presented so much fascinating historical information - very thoroughly researched- and gave us insight into present day Dumbo as well. The highlight of the tour was four stops where we met and spoke with some unique and diverse artists and artisans who contribute to the vitality that is Dumbo. Enjoyed meeting them and learning about each craft. In addition Dom made recommendations of stops to make and places to eat should we come back to visit Dumbo on our own.
Dom’s an engaging, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable guide- my daughter and I eagerly look forward to visiting other Brooklyn neighborhoods with him.
Sneakers ready- we’re all set to go!!!

So glad you learned something new and met some of the people who make Brooklyn so great on the Made in Brooklyn Tour. This small group tour is the best way to get to know the DUMBO neighborhood. It’s great when a guide actually does his research, and actually likes people! We will give Dom a call next time we are in town and want to see some other neighborhoods. Highly recommended!

Although we've been to NY a few times (from UK), we've never been to Brooklyn, so this tour was an absolute treat to discover! Despite the snow, Dom put together the most wonderful programme and introduced us to some lovely local business people. Can't thank him enough for his enthusiasm and passion - if you are looking for history and adventure, book yourself on one of Dom's tours. You won't be disappointed.

Dom led an oustanding walking tour of DUMBO. His deep experience, great connections with artisans in Brooklyn, and his natural friendliness and enthusiasm made for a wonderful afternoon - and was one of the best parts of our 5-day stay in NYC. The tour was well-planned and interesting - a good way to deepen our understanding of NYC and all it offers. We intend to do a walking tour of another Brooklyn neighborhood with Dom the next time we are back. Thank you, Dom!
