我们住在码头那边的野营车公园里。风景美不胜收，公园很棒，商店也很好。码头的酒店里有家餐厅还有酒吧， 这点我很喜欢，走到那边在落日的余晖下喝一杯或吃个晚餐，非常舒服。我们预订了今晚从酒店出发沿河游览的游船。

这个湖的湖水很平静、很蓝、很深，如果你往湖里扔了一块石头，它会立即沉下去（仍石头可能也会污染这个湖噢，哈！）

Hello!
We (8 adults) have a 62' houseboat for 4 nights from Sunday AM (10/11) to Thursday (10/15) but no jet skis or powerboat. Leaving out of Wahweap. We are mostly interested in exploring canyons on paddle boards, swimming, hiking, cool sights (canyons, cliffs, rocks, etc) and enjoying the water. Thinking about a spot somewhere between Wahweap and Dangling Rope and looking for suggestions. Can anyone who has been before recommend some prettier, quieter areas for the week? Last Chance, Rock Creek, Navajo, Labirinth, Face Canyons? Which ones have the best/prettiest beaches/canyon walls/swimming/hiking? Thanks!!

Is Lake Powell open to the public? I am not sure what is open or closed nowadays due to COVID. We plan to go there in November and go hiking. Is this something you can hike at and chill?

Yes they are open. Double check if there are any rentals, i/e boats available, there were none when we went. . The boat tours are not running.
My husband and I will traveling to Page May 11th-16th. We were hoping to enjoy the lake while there. Will the lake water be to cold to rent a jet ski or kayak during this time of year?

I traveled in April and the lake was awesome, even took a dip. My Wife and I kayaked a good part of the lake, had a blast!!
Hello, which are the sunset points at lake powell that can be visited by car? Also would you recommend going here during sunrise or sunset? Also is horseshoe bend worthwhile to visit during sunrise or sunset? we are also keen on visiting a place to see the sunrise. we go next week, any help is appreciated.

We were on a bus tour staying at the hotel at the marina. The sunset along the lake is amazing. There is a public beach about a mile above the hotel, the views there are great. The road runs along the lake and you could just pick your own spot. We did get up for sunrise, we missed it by a half hour but the sun still hit the rocks a put on a real good show.
We were at horseshoe bend around noon time and it was really worth the stop.

I rented a boat in Lake Powell this September. I am wondered how I can navigate back to marina when I am in the middle of Lake Powell. Can I use Google map when I am on Lake Powell? Or any way/experience to navigate in Lake Powell? Thanks.

You will only have gps in certain areas of the lake. ( rumor has it if you can see Navajo Mtn you will have some service). The main channel and the channel markers should get you back to the marina. A map will also come in handy.

Nella zona ad ovest di Page (ad un passo dalla diga) hanno appena costruito un blocco di 4 motel nuovi, ottimo il Baymont, penso che uno di questi possa organizzare qualcosa, altrimenti noleggia un'auto. Il lago non mi ha impressionato, non mancare assolutamente uno dei due antelope canyon, upper o lower, e la curva del Colorado (horseshoe band) dove da quest'anno si paga il parcheggio (10 dollari).
We are renting a houseboat as part of a group but half of us will arrive at 10am for the boat pickup while the other half of us won't make it there until late afternoon. Is there a way to get to the boat in this instance? Can they stay in the marina until everyone is boarded? Thanks!

Hi, I am doing a 5 day houseboat trip next week and wondering if anyone knows what coves at Padre and above would have sandy beaches still with the higher water levels? Preferably closer to dangling rope, to beach 48' house boat and yamaha ski boat, more secluded the better. Anyone there recently?
