It was a good visit, and we saw our Lord Krishna's idol there. There was a Kerala wedding on the day we visited. So we got to visit that as well. Pal payasam was very tasty, though they made us wait more than an hour at the token counter.

A blissful darshan of the little Krishna, with almost no crowd at all, the day after the water logging due to torrential rains, it was a unique experience to see the smiling face of Sree Krishna ( sandal alankar)... A dream come true ...never to be missed. The call of "Vasudeva" by one of the temple employees followed by Neivedhyam of the famous tasty pal payasam is worth all the wait.

I was visiting the temple and the people there asked me to leave, I was not welcome. I am a solo European tourist.

Sree Krishna Temple in Kerala, what can I say about this place, it is just amazing place. A person who is not from kerala will instantly feel the devotional presence the moment you are in the temple. A very large complex, with main deity looks a bit similar to Guvayur Krishna. The paalapayasam is simply the best.

Very nice temple with KErala architecture. Has an elephant normally, but not on hte day we visited. Could be maintained better, especially the temple pond.

The temple is an old architectural splendor and is spread over a huge area with a large pond. The temple has two gates of entry the Eastern & Western Gate. The Western Gate has lot of shops & adequate parking. The temple is famous for the " Ambalapuzzha Palpayasam ( Rice Kheer/ Rice Pudding)", which is distributed at 12 noon. The Palpayasam needs to be pre-booked or if you are lucky you can stand in queue at 10:30 am and try and get it on the same day. The temple also has a elephant permanently inside the temple premises. It is believed that Sree Guruvayoor Appan ( Deity at Guruvayoor Temple) visits the temple every day noon for the "Ambalapuzzha Palpayasam".
Please Note :- Due to the present COVID-19 situation, entry only through Western Gate is allowed. Children are though allowed inside the temple premises but entry into the main sanctum sanctorum.
