Melanting waterfall located at gobleg village, the waterfall still natural ,water is clear even in rain season. Recomended to people doesn't like crodit place

Wonder around and looking for water fall in munduk, finally we found this water fall after 40 minutes walk down .
There is no sign or direction òn the path lane , but you can figure it out. It is worth it when you arrive there is beautiful. Along the way you will see a lot of fruit and vegetation,clove tree,cacao, nutmeg ,snake skin fruit, etc.
Fitness needed when we climb back to the main road/parking area.
To find this waterfall you can go down from taman ayu homestay in munduk.

La tournée des cascades est incontournable si vous passez à Munduk. C'est très beau, c'est une jolie balade en pleine nature et c'est l'occasion de prendre quelques jolis clichés. Ça fait juste bizarre de payer à chaque fois une entrée, alors que c'est en pleine nature et qu'il n'y a pas particulièrement d'infrastructure. En Suisse, nous avons aussi de sacrées belles cascades mais elles sont gratuites... Enfin, ça reste très bon marché, c'est juste le principe.

I love it.I went there alone and locals were so sweet to let me visit for free. Since I had trouble with my laptop, nearly all the pics were gone. Must go again and there are nice new warungs and homestays nearby

On entrance to the waterfall was a checkpoint with locals requesting an entrance fee. Be aware that there is not official ticket office. The common price is 10k.

Un vrai moment de bonheur cette découverte des cascades au milieu de cette belle nature au calme….. nous y étions au moment de la cueillette des clous de girofle … nous avons fait cette visite accompagné d'un guide nous donnant de nombreuse explications

We actually stayed up in Munduk for 2 days and on day 2 got a guide from our hotel and walked there.You probably could go without a guide but sooo glad we did as we walked out a different way which was easier than back tracking and doing all the stairs.We visited 3 waterfalls and they were stunning.The locals are obviously really looking after this area with beautiful gardens and plant life along all the trails with stunning colours etc.It was like walking in a botanical garden.All three waterfalls we visited were deserted and we had the whole place to ourselves for. A Swim or just to contemplate.There are 100 steps to waterfalls 2 and 400 at the last one so if you have mobility issues,forget it but the first one is easy to navigate and can be accessed from a car park just off the main road.I would do them even on a day trip from Kuta they were that pretty but a long drive just for waterfalls.A must visit.Small payments at the gates to each waterfall but like $1 each and you can see that the area is kept clean and maintained.Even toilets near some

Some people are saying it is a difficult long walk with lots of steps. From what I've read, I expect it depends on where you start and finish. Do you remember where you started and/or finished?

We have started our walk at Munduk Waterfall Parking (Jl. Kayu Putih - Munduk, Munduk, Banjar, Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali 81152, Indonesia). From this starting point, the walk is easy and short.

Nous pensons restez 2 nuits à MUNDUK et nous sommes 3 adultes. Quel hotel me conseillerez vous le plus pres des cascades? Nous ne sommes pas dés grands sportifs mais les 3cascades et ballade en foret sont elles possibles ds la journée, avec ou sans guide?Pour dormir, on préférerait un endroit authentique mais...confortable et avec de bons warrungs pas trop loin.Merci pour votre aide.Christophe.

Karangsari Guest House est sympa.
Nous avons séjourné là bas 1 nuit pour pouvoir visiter les cascades. Nous avons pris un guide (génial) qui nous a expliqué en français toutes les ressources de la forêt et il nous a conduit jusqu'aux cascades à pied.

I'm trying to determine the feasibility of doing a tour at this waterfall with my son (will be 2.5 when we travel). He walks fine though (of course) is kind of slow going up and down steps. I don't mind carrying him for a bit if necessary and could split between myself and my husband for a break. But how long is the walk? Are there sufficient steps? Are they slippery? Are there hand rails?
Would you suggest going here with a 2 year old? If not, are there any other waterfalls that you'd suggest? Any other tips or suggestions would be appreciated as well. Thank you!

I dont think that I would try this with a young child. We are fit 50yr olds and we found some sections of the path slippery and although the path to the first waterfall from town is paved in sections there are some areas that are not so easy. There are some steps but they are not necessarily in good condition due to the constant use and weather conditions. We walked at a constant but gentle pace and it took us maybe 45mins to go down, but of course you then need to go back up to the village which of course is harder. There are, so I am told, 300 steps up to the top of the waterfall and to continue on walking the trail. We did not do this but turned around and went back from the bottom. We did not see any young children but maybe 8 years or older. Unless your child is used to walking long distances I would not recomend. Good luck with your decision.

as far as I can remember the walk took about 50 MN to 1 hour in total. walking slowly and taking time to take pictures. On tthe way back it could be difficult if you are not in good physical condition because you have about 200 steps and you could consider it steep ....
anyway this is a beautifull walk... there are 3 water falls in munduk and you can not go to melanting in 5 or 10 mn from the road starting from munduk

Waar vandaan wil je erheen? Wij hebben koffie gedronken bij één van de homestays een zijn toen naar de watervallen gewandeld. Ergens kom je iemand tegen in een hokje en daar betaal je dan het beetje entree. Op de app maps.me (offline kaarten) kan je precies zien waar de voetpaden beginnen vanaf de grote weg.
