Was here with family, water was very clean. It was one of the best beaches to we've see. Not much people, beautiful underwater.

I love thé vibe, thé people and thé nature (under water)
Oh and thé restaurants
And Joe's café on friday evening with live music. Love to dance and sing with locals with expats and with tourists
Alot of handicraft made there and sold at lower prices than in f.i. Ubud or Kuta/legian

The beach at Pemuteran is a large bay. it is a serene sandy beach, with volcanic (grey) sand. The sea is calm and free of strong currents and waves - perfect for swimming and snorkelling. It has rocks at either end of the bay, which are exposed at low tide (beware of the sea urchins). It is unique in that it has coral reefs within 50m of the shore. The reefs are protected no-fishing zones, and full of friendly curious colourful fish. It is also home to the Biorock project, the largest reef restoration in the world.
There are a couple of beach warungs but generally there are only a few people on the beach no hawkers or massage huts unlike beaches in the south of Bali. There is also very little rubbish in the water or on the beach, which makes a rarity for swimming and walking on the beach.

Our best recommendation for a great activity in Pemuteran is to use Kadek Anna ( whatsapp +62 812-3906-7176 ) He is a captain and owner of a local boat.
He offers: Morning trip at sunrise - snorkeling trip on local reefs - sunset trip - trip to a white coral island - or just a sailing trip where you experience nature from the lake side - Fish trip
Everything is possible, just contact Kadek.

I just returned from 4 days in Pemuteran. The beach is beautiful and the town is small and welcoming. It is a 3+ hours drive from Ubud, and well worth the peace, beauty, tranquility, and interaction with locals, a priceless journey. You won't want to leave.

We had Tawan (+62 853-3360-1576) to bring us around Pemuteran, drive and guide us. The sea and beach around Labuhan Lalang, was great. Tawan is flexible, outgoing, responsible, and safe-driving man. See you soon mate. From Singapore.

A beautiful clean beach with some restaurants.
Before coming to Bali, we read about beaches having lots of garbage on the but we’re pleasantly surprised to find no trash on this beach. The sand is a beautiful mix of volcanic and light sand.
Bio-Rock Is meters from the shore and well worth the trip. Just beautiful.

stayed in Pemuteran for two nights three week ago,and one afternoon visited here for sunset,but that day no good sunset.actually it is the second time i came here,the first time almost ten years ago. Pemuteran beach is always quiet,not crowded.there are many cafes and restaurants along the beach,you can relax here, the sand is black colour. you can walk along the beach,and see some firshermen doing their job. there are some cute dogs on the beach.you can even ride a horse here,i think it is an activity provided by the hotel nearby.recommend Pemuteran beach to those who stay here.

Spiaggia molto bella e tranquilla, con possibilità di fare snorkeling e vedere bei pesci colorati a pochi metri dalla riva.
Dopo il covid molte strutture sulla spiaggia sono chiuse. Noi abbiamo affittato un lettino (50k IDR) al chiccoso Taman Sari, potendo usare anche la loro piscina e mangiando direttamente sulla spiaggia al loro ristorante.
Non abbiamo trovato immondizia e le acque sono trasparenti e calde.
Molto molto rilassante.

un normale taxi o auto con conducente, e se siete in gruppo dividete la spesa. Altrimenti se sei sola re un motorino. I costi sono abbordabili, Sconsiglio l'auto a noleggio.

Hi, I have booked 4 nights accommodation at Taman Sari for July 2016. We love, peace and quiet and swimming in the sea and snorkelling. We love authentic charming Bali. We have a couple of nights booked in Seminyak when we first arrive and we know the area well, and then 2 nights in Munduk on our way to Pemuteran. I was just wondering whether 4 nights is too long or should we head back to Seminyak for one night before our flight or 2 nights?
