There are so many rules like cover your legs, cover your shoulder, tie your hair etc.
We respect the rules but there are no signs stating them. So as you enter the premises, people , vendors and staff starts yelling at you.
Temple is not extraordinary too

A nice Hanuman temple opened in 2001. it is handled by the Chinmaya Mission of Sri Lanka. The temple building seemed appealing from the outside. Unfortunately, we couldn't go inside the actual temple as the temple door was closed by the time we reached there.
The actual temple is open from 7 AM to 12:45 PM and from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The complex also houses a big canteen where you can have a full meal or some snacks (only vegetarian). There were some shops selling Sri Lankan coffee, tea and, other spices.
Scenic views of the Nuwara Eliya hills from here were just too good!

Достаточно милый храм, видно. Что его поддерживают в хорошем состоянии. Но сам храм не впечатлил если честно.

Nice to visit on the way, not much to do or see around the Mandir (temple). There is a very well stocked book shop which is part of the Chinmaya Mission store. No photography allowed in the Mandir.

Had Darshan on 19th February 2020 at 13.00pm
During our Ramayana Trail tour of Sri Lanka, we had opportunity to visit this divine Temple on our way to Nuwara Eliya from Kandy. The Temple location is 1/2 km off-route to the main road and the climb can be interesting for young people. However due to paucity of time and as advise by our guide we took auto ( 3 people) SLR 400/- to and fro.
The Temple approach has about 40-50 high stairs. So groups with senior citizens please be aware.
The Temple and its surrounding maintained by Chinmaya Mission, India is serene clean and the beauty is abound. Just in time befor the Temple closure we offered puja as we carried prasad from India and the distributed them among the devotees. A grand statue of Bhagwan Hanuman takes centre stage in the sanctum of the temple. inside the temple there are deities of other God and Goddess.
Spend some quality time there and watched the sleeping Hanuman hill from the Temple. Do visit this palace and seek blessings.
The Temple complex houses a souvenir shop and a light refreshment place for coffee and package snacks.

This beautiful temple is located on a hill slope amidst tea plantations on the Kandy Nuwara Eliya Road. The exterior sports a simple architecture with a beautifully laid out lawn. A coffee shop and a souvnir/book shop are run by the temple management. Limited parking is available in the premises.

The setting of this temple is great and the view is great as well. There is a vegetarian restaurant outside the temple. we had just had our breakfast so unfortunately could not try the food there. there is a shop outside which seeks spices and tea. we were hunting for a not too commercial place to buy spices and this seemed to be a good place. Good stop for pious and not so pious people

We reached the temple at 2.30 p.m. and it was shut. We learnt that it would open only at 3.30 p.m. We decided to wait and just look around. The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful. The temple has a huge compound which is very well maintained by the Chinmaya mission.

Surrounded by scenic beauty this place is recently built by the Chinmaya Mission on the hilltop. The temple property is well maintained and overlooks scenic beauty. We reached at 2:30 p.m. and the temple was closed hence we couldn't see the deity of Lord Hanuman.

This Temple you will come across on your way to Nuwara Elliya, very quite temple. Views from the temple are very nice.

It is at Ramboda on way to Nuwara Eliya from Kandy. Thus from Colombo it will be about 4-5 hours, but nearer to Kandy. We saw this first , then had a visit to Tea factory and then to Sita Temple before reaching Nuwara Eliya for night halt which is a hill station.

Roads reach to about as near as the temple but the last 50 stairs surely need to be climbed, no alternative to that. So I would suggest to avoid it for the person with disability.

What are the temple timings ? I will be driving from Kandy to Nuwara eliya late afternoon . Should i start early to see temple or visit Nuwara eliya first and visit the temple next day morning .

I advise you start early and break for Lunch at Bhakta Hanuman Temple. There is an awesome Vegetarian restaurant Annapurni there. You can then also cover Tea Gardens and tea factory enroute to Nuvvara Eliya and reach by evening.
