這條步道緊鄰著海岸走，前面0至700M可以觀賞到優美壯闊的太平洋，沿路上有本地植物介紹說明，一邊健行，一邊長知識。900M接近進健行路線的最高點。颱風過後路樹木倒塌不少，想辦法通過也是一種考驗及樂趣，尤其是小孩們。

Jhaoyang (or Zhaoyang in Pinyin) National Trail is located near Nanao Zhaoyang Fish Harbor and overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The trail is 2.2 kilometers long and takes about two hours to finish, inclusive of rest and photography. It is a fairly easy hike if you do not rush along the way.
To arrive at the trail, I suggest that you take #1570 of Capital Bus from Taipei City Hall Bus Station. It is almost an hour ride to arrive in Luodong. Then from Luodong Train Station take a Local Train to arrive in Nanao (about 30 minutes). Follow the signs that lead to Zhaoyang. It is a pleasant two-kilometer walk along rice paddies (about 30 minutes). You will not miss the entrance as there is a huge sign and across from it there is a small restaurant.
Stop by Nanao Zhaoyang Fish Harbor before or after the hike if you wish. There is a quiet and clean beach. Water sports such as swimming and snorkeling are of course forbidden as the waves are frighteningly ferocious.
