Best brews in New Orleans!

Good beers and vibe

A bit of the beaten path, but worth it if you're a brewery junkie. We always hit as many local breweries as possible. This was our favorite in NOLA. Great beers and laid back vibe.

Awesome as always

I love to walk here from the Canal St Ferry terminal. I bring the dogs, who enjoy it too. Usually we eat at the Joint, but as it was closed, we walked to Nola Cantina.

Nice Patio, Disappointing Service

We always try local breweries when we travel. Parleaux had decent beer and a lovely patio but was annoyed with the service. I did a flight (overpriced, $18 for 6) and they poured a sour instead of IPA. The bartender insisted I was wrong even though my husband had ordered the full IPA. Regardless, I know the difference between the two and was annoyed she was rude and wouldn’t switch it out.

Great beers and facility. Good barrel aged sours and other quality beers. Way out of the way but worth the visit. Some snacks available. Huge garden area seating which is really nice. Highly recommended!

Nice place, Excellent Brews

My wife and I had fun at the Parleaux Beer Lab. We had some New England style IPA’s and some fantastic barrel aged sours. Met a bunch of cool people also. Cheers !!!

Like a backyard party with brew-friends

Staying in the Bywater, we happened across this cool place while looking for parking to go to another place. The selection of brews pleased one of our group, and the friendly backyard setting was a welcome relax after a busy day in the tourist area. I liked the 3-4 oz. size tasters.

Out of the way, but well worth a bike ride or Uber

This is a bit out of the way, but well worth an Uber or a bike ride from downtown; they do have a bike rack for the blue bikes. They have an indoor and an outdoor seating area with a large selection of beers made on site and have swag for sale. I was disappointed they didn’t have any pop up food stands when we were there but the beer was really good. I tried the dry hopped lager and my wife had a blueberry gose beer, both were very good and showed the talent of the brew team.

Unique Brews

Parleaux is a smaller brewery that has some pretty unique beer options. Some have so much flair that they don't even taste like beer. You can find a good choice though, no matter what your beer taste is. The seating outdoors is pretty nice. It feels like someone's backyard party, for better or worse. I say that because there are a bit too many kids for my liking, but parents have to get drunk and let their kids run around somewhere, I guess. The beer is also a wee bit too pricey. Must beers are around $8-$9, which is a couple bucks more than the breweries I like to frequent. It's worth a go if you want a different take on some beers.
