We really enjoyed the tour. Gordon is an amazing guide and the food was delicious. We had oysters, muffuletta's, jambalaya, gumbo, alligator, candied pecan's and pralines. Apparently they are pronounced [praw-lene not pray-lene] who knew? We took the tour that went from 11 am - 2 pm. My only regret is that I didn't schedule a second one for dinner time. Next time. My daughter didn't bring an umbrella with her so I was sharing mine. It was a crazy downpour during the tour. When the tour was over we asked Gordon where to buy an umbrella and he gave us his. Super sweet man!

We ended up touring with one other couple, so we had a very personal experience with our host, Lisa. All the food was amazing, and Lisa shared the history behind the dishes. She also answered many of our non-food questions about New Orleans. This was something I would do again the next time we visit the city!

We had a group of 12 that toured with Lisa. Since we were a large group, the tour just included us. Lisa was very patient and gave us good instructions on where to meet. She was very accommodating and punctual. It was nice to hear of her life in New Orleans and took us along the stops that she loved. We absolutely LOVED the gumbo and charbroiled oysters. Some of our friends also really loved the muffuletta stop. It was a gorgeous day to walk around and experience the city, and Lisa did a great job showing us around.

Oh my word! The Garden District Food Tour was amazing! Kaffey was the best guide! She took us to amazing eateries (fyi - LARGE portions) and taught us a lot about the area along the way. Thanks, Kaffey!!

I booked a private tour with Gordon. My husband and I wanted something adventurous and outside the box, and we were well pleased with what Gordon put together. It wasn't as adventurous as he had hoped he could make it because, through no fault of his, some of his chosen restaurants were closed on the day he took us around. His second choice places were quite good, and we even revisited one or two of them during our stay in the city. We got to try chicken feet for the first time for both of us! Gordon even went off the food script a little to help my husband and I find a little statuette we were after. It was a fantastic adventure. Thank you, Gordon!

We had an awesome time with our guide Lisa! She was so knowledgeable and friendly! We had 5 fantastic stops, with delicious food. We are a family of 6 adults (2 with food restrictions), and all of us had a great time. We met other lovely travellers and enjoyed learning about the various dishes and history of the food. The char broiled oysters from Felix’s were a hit, very unusual and tasty. The muffuletta from Frank’s was delicious, as were the boudin balls from Kingfisher. Highly recommend!

We had fun, the tour was really nice. As was the tour guide, Lisa. She made the tour really interesting and the food that we tried was pretty good.

Had a great time on this tour! Ate some absolutely delicious food and learned about a beautiful neighborhood. They easily accommodated vegetarian and allergy restrictions. Kaffey was a fantastic guide as well!

Lisa was welcoming, knowledgeable, and loads of fun! Not only did Lisa get us great food that checked all the must-eats we were hoping to experience, but she also shared with us info about the culture and the history of NOLA. We loved all the foods we tasted, were full by the end of it, and were armed with plenty of insider recommendations for the rest of our stay. We highly recommend Lisa!
